Palworld’s 1.0 patch notes were so large they went over Steam’s 32,000-character limit.
The full changelog is 10,626 words and 66,550 characters, which is more than double Steam’s character limit for update posts.
Pocketpair publishing lead John “Bucky” Buckley said the team had to find a different way to publish the notes without removing any information.
Proud to say that I managed the @ironmouse Arcade booth at Anime Expo! This was a HUGE project in the making for months - working on merch, activities, M&Gs, logistics, etc. Thankful for the opportunity and the support from the team and community~! Big things coming 🥲
Rest in peace to the woman behind Kiki’s Delivery Service 🕊️
Akiko Hayashi, the legendary Japanese picture-book author and illustrator, passed away at the age of 81. While anime fans may know Kiki’s Delivery Service through Studio Ghibli’s 1989 film, Hayashi was the artist behind the illustrations of the novel, giving readers one of the earliest printed images of Kiki and Jiji before the story became an anime classic.
Hayashi was best known for her warm, delicate portrayals of childhood in books like Miki’s First Errand, Good Evening Mr. Moon, Aki and the Fox, and There’s a Hippo in My Bath! Her work captured small emotions with rare tenderness: a child’s nervous first step, a quiet moment under the moon, or the courage hidden in everyday life.
Her illustrations helped shape the visual memory of generations, from picture-book readers in Japan and Korea to fans who later discovered Kiki’s story through Ghibli.
Rest in peace, Akiko Hayashi 🌙

It all started with "think of the children". Remember people getting arrested for possessing legal artwork of anime illustrations on their phones? Yeah... buckle up because It's gonna get a lot worse.
Now the EU authorities will have full monitoring power over private messages and direct messages.
This isn't even the endgame of this moral panic safetyism, where people are trading their freedom for the guise of protecting their children. This mandates client-side scanning on the user's devices for any offending material before it is encrypted. Then the automatically generated report is forwarded to the authorities.
The endgame is FULL CONTROL over what you are allowed to say and not allowed to say, what you are allowed to enjoy, and might make certain video games and anime completely illegal.
Send some totally normal anime images to a friend via chat? AI content detection falsely flags it as CSAM, and then you get arrested.
Meanwhile, the real victims continue to get groomed and abused by the usual suspects as the authorities turn a blind eye, as they "don't want to exacerbate racism".
We have gone beyond the metrics of a simple "clown world"... this is just straight-up Anarchotyranny hell world, monitoring legal speech, while actual criminals are allowed to victimize anyone.
