SunPayus isn't just an AWPer. He is a full-time photographer. Every round he buys his $4750 AWP like it's a brand new DSLR and scopes in to adjust the lens. The enemy walks away unharmed, but at least the composition was just right.
adjusts lens zoom...focus...zoom...focus...
Meanwhile his teammates are fighting for their lives and SunPayus is saying, "hold on guys, the lighting on B site is perfect."
Enemy peeks? CLICK. Nice photo. Smoke fades? CLICK. Great composition. Teammate dies? CLICK. Cinematic storytelling.
His teammates scream "SHOOT HIM!", but SunPayus gives important comms like that the "depth of field isn't right."
SunPayus's HLTV stats after a match: Rating = 0.82. Kills = 4. Deaths = 19. Photos taken = 56!
SunPayus isn't missing his shots, he is adjusting the focus. SunPayus didn't forget to shoot, he is just waiting to take the perfect picture.
@ItzelN_@tweez223 Yeah exactly, this is just Sunpayus's level now, and why sign a proven quantity like r1nkle that everyone knows the floor and ceiling of, when they had kl1m right there? He has room to develop under sAw. Mibr didn't even go with him in the end.
@reversedfish Honestly confused why PV didn't just buy out Syph0 or r3salt or even Mokujin to replace Belchonokk. It's not like they can't afford their buyouts
@reversedfish I think n0te's pretty good, his time on Nemesis when they had a western mix was pretty impressive with their deep tier 2 runs in Exort and Epic tourneys. But yeah, he probably won't solve any of NIPs issues
@reversedfish@tweez223 Maybe it's just me but I rarely see JBOEN's name brought up compared to Jorko. Imo Jambo needs a new environment. after Fnatic pivoted to a Ukrainian core his stats really tanked. Also wasn't he signed for a high amount? Most teams who need an awp upgrade prolly can't buy him out
@reversedfish@tweez223 I'm honestly surprised people don't speak of him as much as Podi or Jorko as western awping prospects, maybe cause he plays on BIG Academy and they don't really play in big tier 2 events
@Ozzny_CS2 JBOEN's a sleeper pick, he was subbing in for gr1ks on BIG when he had visa issues during their tier 2 grind at Dreamhack Atlanta and Skyesports Chennai with good stats. While he hasn't faced super stiff competition, I think he has room to grow into a good awper.
@MaikyyCS Closest thing we have right now is like, United21. It's not really an academy league, but a lot of different academy teams play in their tourneys.
