Sanskrit is not a dead language. It is used in temples all over India. Hindus chant sanskrit shlokas all over India. Even the anti Hindu groups keep recalling the 50 or more versions of Manusmriti to find fault with the Sanathan Dharma! :)) Ramayana and the Mahabharata are quoted day to day in WhatsApp and Arattai messages. The internet is full of Sanskrit quotes. The bhagavad gita is quoted in movies and articles. Scintillating Indian music breezes through the Sanskrit language for jamming vocals and fusion. Very many Indian names are sanskrit. The Dravidian languages, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam mirror sanskrit in many ways. Sanskrit and Tamil grew up together influencing each other.

Sanskrit is easily understood and rightly pronounced all over India. Several Sanskrit texts are ancient and they are highly valued as astronomical, mathematical, scientific treatises and literary marvels.
The exposition of dharma, the enunciation of the perfect seeds of sound, ethics, aesthetics, and explanations of the different philosophical propositions that any mind can ever scale have all found apt expression in the highly evolved language called Samaskritam!

Samaskritam is the deva bhasha as it stores the profundity of spiritually evolved people. It is spoken by quite a few in different places in India and there is a renaissance of the language worldwide, as more and more knowledge-seekers revisit its religious, philosophical, scientific and literary treasures.
Samaskritam is immortal because its phonetics and linguistics are structured perfectly. What is perfect, will be protected by time. We may not wear gold everyday, but we would never give it away!
