संगरूर - मुख्यमंत्री का अपना ज़िला: मज़दूर गुलज़ार सिंह ने मंत्री के सामने गाँव में नशे का सवाल उठाया। परिवार का आरोप है कि उसके बाद उन पर माफ़ी माँगने का दबाव डाला गया। उन्होंने अपनी जान दे दी।

संगरूर: नशे के ख़िलाफ़ बोलने वाले मोहनजीत सिंह पर हिरासत में यातना के आरोप - मामला अब हाईकोर्ट में है।

और झोटा की कहानी में एक बात और है। जब उन्होंने शिकायत की, तो FIR हुई और पुलिस ने बाद में झोटा को भी बुक कर दिया।
जिस सरकार में शिकायत करने वाला भी मुलज़िम बन जाए, वहाँ नशे के सौदागर बेख़ौफ़ क्यों न हों?

CM भगवंत मान जवाब दें: नशे के ख़िलाफ़ लड़ने वालों की हिफ़ाज़त कौन करेगा?

पंजाब के युवाओं का भविष्य तबाह करने वाले इस नशे के साम्राज्य को ख़त्म किए बिना कांग्रेस चैन से नहीं बैठेगी।

प्रेस क्लब में आज ज्ञानेश कुमार के खिलाफ प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के लिए नेहा बोरा, प्रशांत भूषण, प्रकाश राज, अभिजीत दीपके, अंजली भारद्वाज, निखिल डे समेत कई लोग जुटे थे .
जैसे ही कॉन्फ्रेंस शुरू हुई और नेहा बोरा ने बोलना शुरू किया, रिपब्लिक के रिपोर्टर ने किनारे से चिल्लाकर कुछ सवाल पूछना शुरू कर दिया . ऐसा लगा जैसे चैनल की तरफ से चार रिपोर्टर इस PC में इसी काम के लिए भेजे गए थे . उन्हें अर्नब गोस्वामी ने कुछ खास असाइनमेंट देकर भेजा होगा . नेहा और बाकी लोगों ने कहा भी कि आप प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस होने दीजिए , उसके बाद सवाल पूछिये . फिर कुछ शोर - शराबा हुआ तो रिपब्लिक से रिपोर्टर्स वहां से हट गए .
मैंने PC के बाद कई न्यूज चैनलों के रिपोर्टर से बात की . सबका मानना था कि रिपब्लिक के रिपोर्टर का ये तरीका सही नहीं था . उनका मकसद प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को डिस्टर्ब करना था . अगर सवाल पूछना तो तो PC खत्म होने का इंतज़ार करते .
आप किसी की PC की शुरू होते ही हंगामा नहीं कर सकते .
काश! इतनी हिम्मत कभी सत्ताधारियों की प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में दिखाते. वहां तो फ्रेंडली मैच होता है और यहां बवाल करने आ गए. मोदी और शाह के सामने तो खुद अर्नब ही भींगी बिल्ली बन जाता है .

19 साल की अंकिता भंडारी ने एक VIP के लिए अपनी गरिमा से समझौता करने से इनकार किया, जिसके कारण उसकी हत्या कर दी गई। चार साल बाद भी CBI की धीमी जांच के चलते यह सवाल बना हुआ है कि वो VIP कौन था।

अंकिता के परिवार समेत कई लोग मानते हैं कि दुष्यंत गौतम इस मामले से जुड़े हुए हैं। ऐसे में उनकी सिक्किम के राज्यपाल के पद पर नियुक्ति से मैं स्तब्ध हूं। राज्यपाल के पद पर रहते हुए उनके खिलाफ कोई आपराधिक कार्यवाही नहीं हो सकती।

दुष्यंत गौतम की नियुक्ति की सलाह देकर प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने साबित किया है कि महिलाओं की सुरक्षा की उन्हें बिल्कुल परवाह ही नहीं है।

मैं आपसे अपील करता हूं कि सरकार को इस नियुक्ति पर पुनर्विचार करने और जांच पूरी होने तक दुष्यंत गौतम को पदभार न देने की सलाह दें।

अंकिता के माता-पिता की न्याय की उम्मीद मत टूटने दीजिए।

While actor Imran Khan, an OCI cardholder, has reportedly been asked to leave India for criticising Modi, let me explain how the Modi regime weaponises Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) status to silence critics- and how the judiciary has played a troublingly duplicitous role.

In 2021, I became the first person whose OCI was officially cancelled by the Modi regime for criticising it, and I was also banned from entering India. Atish Taseer's OCI had been revoked earlier, but officially on technical grounds.

In 2023, the Delhi High Court overturned the Modi regime's decision to cancel my OCI. However, it remained conspicuously silent on the separate order banning my entry into India.

Just two weeks after the High Court's ruling, the Modi regime cancelled my OCI again, effectively defying the spirit of the Court's decision.

The government branded me a threat to India's national security and integrity but refused to disclose the alleged evidence to either me or my lawyer. Instead, it submitted the material to the judge in a sealed envelope, denying me a meaningful opportunity to challenge the accusations.

In 2025, the Delhi High Court once again overturned the government's decision to cancel my OCI. Yet, astonishingly, it again remained silent on the ban preventing me from entering India.

I subsequently petitioned the Delhi High Court for permission to visit India for just two weeks to see my ailing mother. For more than a year, the Court has continued hearing the case without delivering a ruling.Meanwhile, the Modi regime has issued yet another show-cause notice, seeking to cancel my OCI for a third time.

My experience exposes a disturbing pattern: the Modi regime uses OCI status as a political weapon to punish dissent, while the judiciary overturns individual cancellation orders without addressing the restrictions that make those victories meaningless.

What is the value of judicial relief if the government can repeatedly circumvent it? And what is the meaning of justice when a son cannot even obtain a timely ruling on his request to visit his ailing mother?

This is not merely about my OCI. It is about the weaponisation of state power, the erosion of due process, and a judiciary that appears increasingly unwilling to confront executive arbitrariness.
