you leave pakistan and suddenly you see your potential unfolding. if sualeh was in pakistan, he probably wouldn’t have done much. firstly, he’d be too busy dealing with mehngai, load shedding, random lockdowns, protests, and everything else going on. secondly, most people here have a limiting mindset, they don’t even believe they can achieve big, and eventually you become what your environment keeps telling you.
When our righteous father, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, entered Mecca, he stood at the Kaaba inside Masjid al-Haram and made this supplication:
“O Allah, if You know that in my rule there is good for Islam and the Muslims, then keep me (in it); and if You know otherwise, then take my soul to You without letting me fall into temptation.”
Allah mentions in the Qur’an that whoever believes and does righteous deeds will have no 'khauf' (fear) and no 'huzn' (grief) in this life and in the next.
So what is the difference between khauf and huzn?
Khauf (fear) relates to the future; the worry about what might happen.
Huzn (grief) relates to the past; sadness over what has already happened.
Scholars mentioned that the cure for both is the Qur’an. When a person builds a deep relationship with the Qur’an (recitation, learning and following), it protects the heart from both fear of the future and grief over the past, in this world and in the Hereafter.
Indeed, the Qur’an is a healing for whatever is in the hearts.
May Allah make us among the people of the Qur'an. Amin 🤲
i saw an article that read "healing can be so hard when your inner child wants love, your teenage self wants revenge, and your current self only wants peace."
man, i really related to that.
No one really warns you about this part of adulthood where you start to feel homesick, not for a house, but for a moment in time. A version of life that doesn’t exist anymore. A place you can’t return to, and a feeling you didn’t know you’d miss so much until it was gone.
Why is Surah Yusuf named as the best of stories? Because it teaches us that the prisoners will be released, the sick will be healed, the absent will return, the sad will rejoice, the distress will disappear and that every test of the believer is good. Trust Allah.
I came to understand that perhaps Allah sometimes sends isolation and loneliness upon His slave to force him to lose all hope in the creation, and to seek complete comfort in Him, for perhaps He missed His beloved slave’s voice, and wanted to draw him nearer.
Once Dr. Israr Ahmed said "We don't want to be pious, we just want to look pious and be called pious" and this fits today’s world perfectly.People here(not all) love to post their “religiousness” for likes and attention, but in reality, it’s all hypocrisy and pure fakery.
People don’t even crave love anymore, they crave distraction, something to fill the silence so they don’t have to sit with themselves. Be very careful when committing to someone in this era.
