Graduates. Lawyers. Doctors. Engineers. Academicians. Scholars. Professors.

These people are the very core of the Baloch liberation struggle.

These are not unlettered people who have been brainwashed into fighting against Pakistan. These are educated middle-class people who have resolved to end Pakistan’s tyranny.

Lawyers and doctors have dropped their practice, and engineers their tools. Academicians have left the library and professors, their classrooms. And together they have taken to the mountains, both men and women.

Remember the word SARMACHAR. You will hear it very often in the coming months.

War is coming to Balochistan. To my Baloch brothers and sisters I say “May you be ever victorious”.

To my government and people I say “This is not the time to be neutral.”

Will Balochistan be free? It will not be easy. But then God gives the toughest battles to the bravest soldiers.

For the graves of your fathers.
For every brother disappeared.
For every friend killed.
For every sister abducted.
For every son tortured.
For every mother who stands outside her house, year after year, hoping that her son will come back.

And for the honour of the Baloch nation.

PAKISTAN: More than 38 hours since Mahrang Baloch's unlawful detention, she is still being denied access to her lawyers and family. There are also worrying reports of continued arbitrary arrests and detentions across Balochistan province.

Pakistani authorities must immediately release Mahrang Baloch and all others being detained for exercising their right to peaceful protest, and refrain from implicating Baloch activists in frivolous cases to unlawfully prolong their detention.
