A new chapter for Katti Academy.

Over the years, many students have walked through the Katti Academy learning journey—through the Parashara programmes, specialised courses, workshops and deeper study of Jyotish.

Yet I have always felt that the relationship between a teacher and a serious student need not end when a course ends.

I am therefore beginning something new:

Katti Academy Sangha

A continuing community for students and alumni who wish to remain connected to the serious study, practice and deeper exploration of Jyotish.

The Sangha will have a monthly Sangha Sabha on Zoom, exclusively for its members.

These Sabhas will go beyond the routine course syllabus and provide a space for:

• Deeper Jyotish teaching.
• Secret techniques from the tradition.
• Connecting the teachings of the Puranas and Jyotish.
• Chart-based case studies.
• Discussion and exchange among serious students.
• Research and collaborative exploration.
• Selected resources and observations.
• Continued learning beyond the formal classroom.

The Sangha will be a curated community, not an open or general-purpose astrology group.

Membership will therefore be based on eligibility and suitability, with an emphasis on seriousness, participation and a genuine commitment to the study and practice of Jyotish.

The Sangha is also intended to be a community of participation, not merely membership.

From time to time, distinguished practitioners, scholars and respected members of the wider Jyotish/spiritual community may be specially invited to a Sangha Sabha, on a case-by-case basis, to share their experience, participate in discussions, witness and bless the work being undertaken within the Sangha.

I want this to grow slowly and meaningfully.

Not necessarily into the largest Jyotish community.

But into a community where serious students know that their learning does not end when a course ends.

The classroom may end. The journey does not.
