My hot (not really) VN take is that a lot of VNs would become much tighter experiences if they had only 1-2 routes, or 3 max
A lot of the time, it feels like the dev had some pretty cool ideas for one or two hero(in)es, while the rest were treated like "we need to reach a quota"
