20 YEARS OF SUFFERING – STILL NO DRAINAGE, NO SOLUTION

This is the condition of Balia/Nuashai Chhak, Remuna, Balasore, Odisha after every heavy rainfall. For more than 20 years, our locality has been facing severe waterlogging because there is no proper drainage system.

We have submitted repeated complaints and representations to the authorities, but no permanent solution has been provided. Every monsoon, our homes, roads, vehicles, and daily lives are affected. This is not just an inconvenience—it is a serious public safety issue.

Who will take responsibility if someone’s house is damaged, a child falls into the floodwater, an elderly person is injured, or there is a medical emergency because roads are submerged? Who will be held accountable if a preventable tragedy occurs?

We respectfully request @pcsarangi @manaskumardutta @balasoremunici1 @ZPBalasore @DMBaleshwar @CMO_Odisha , and the concerned authorities to visit our locality immediately, fix this long-pending issue, and provide a permanent drainage solution.
