Pope Francis was the rare leader who made us want to be better people. In his humility and his gestures at once simple and profound – embracing the sick, ministering to the homeless, washing the feet of young prisoners – he shook us out of our complacency and reminded us that we are all bound by moral obligations to God and one another.
Today, Michelle and I mourn with everyone around the world – Catholic and non-Catholic alike – who drew strength and inspiration from the Pope’s example. May we continue to heed his call to “never remain on the sidelines of this march of living hope.”
San Antonio is a city built on compassion and no senseless acts rooted in hate will ever be tolerated.
We will continue to honor the lives of the 53 migrants lost that tragic day and ensure their memory is never erased.

More Greg Abbott for the kids.
Since you’ve been gov:
- 26,000 women and GIRLS have been forced to carry their rapist’s child since you signed your abortion ban. Remember how you were going to eliminate rape?
- More than a hundred kids have died in Texas foster care on your watch.
- More rural hospitals have shut down here than any other state - where do those kids go for care?
- 19 kids were murdered in Uvalde because the gun lobby writes your regulations and your DPS didn’t have the guts to stop the gunman. And you haven’t done a single thing to prevent it from happening again.
I may have lost the election but you have failed the children of Texas.
Happy Valentines Day.
This woman donates massive sums to food banks in every single city she has a concert. Never broadcasts it.
Donated a million to LA wildfire efforts.
And y'all boo her because you're triggered she was on your TV for 5 seconds. Soft & pathetic
Scripture says: “I have been young and now I’m old yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken.”
After all these years serving you, the American people, I have not seen the righteous forsaken.
I love you all.
May you keep the faith.
And may God bless you all.
This neighborhood in Iowa is decked out in Christmas lights. But the homeowners didn't put up the decorations – a 74-year-old veteran did. It's his way of making sure his wife, who has Alzheimer's, is happy ❤️

I have been privileged to serve this nation for over 50 years.
I have given my heart and my soul, like so many others have.
And I have been blessed a million times in return with the love and support of the American people.
I hope you know how grateful I am to all of you.
Michelle Obama, Amal Clooney and Melinda French Gates have joined forces to end child marriage within a generation.
At the current rate, the UN says it'll take 300 years to end it. But Obama told the BBC it's "an issue that can be solved tomorrow."

As America’s First Lady from 1977-1981, Rosalynn Carter advocated for mental health and other important issues. Throughout Jimmy Carter’s political career, she was one of his biggest supporters, and as lifelong companions they were inseparable. She was instrumental in the founding of the Carter Center in Atlanta, which is dedicated to peace and human rights worldwide. Carter has died at the age of 96.
It fills me with such pride and joy to announce that my version of Speak Now will be out July 7 (just in time for July 9th, iykyk 😆) I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing… and living to speak about it. With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you on July 7th. Pre-order now at https://t.co/m3KNl71qrY 💜💜💜
Jimmy Carter is one of the most amazingly genuine people to ever serve this country. He represents what's great about the American spirit. Even in his mid 90s he built homes for those in need.
President Carter, you will always be remember for the goodness of your heart.
