@OmarAbdullah The same situation occurred in Haryana on 17 October 2024. Point number 3 clearly states that 'the post(s) lying vacant due to the resignation or death of the selected/appointed candidate during the validity of the waiting list shall be filled from the waiting list, and there is no need to advertise such vacancies again while the waiting list is alive/operative.' I don’t understand why the J&K government is not interested in securing the future of hundreds of families on the waiting list. How many proofs do we need to provide?"

@OmarAbdullah What is the difference between bureaucratic rule and an elected government in J&K? While the youth in J&K continue to suffer due to mass #resignations in the #waitinglist, Other UTs/states like Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana, as well as the Railway Board of India, have adopted this clause, ( The Fifth Central Pay Commission, in para 17.11 of its Report,These recommendations have been adopted by DOP&T vide their OM No. 41019/18/97-Estt(B) dated 13.06.2000.),but J&K Govt has yet to follow suit.
