@Ugeneius69 @Cade_Koehly @cmayzsd@MikeWiseguy@SK4LSU I am a FB, regardless, I would never allow someone else to define me for any reason. Your Tribe, and only your Tribe, may enroll anyone it wants. It always begins with the Tribe. If you do not support your Tribal enrollment laws, then work to change them.
@cjkc_life09@MikeWiseguy I do agree with your assessment of Tribal priorities, I call that breaking Treaties. Stereotyping has a role in that as well (my opinion). Maybe if we started enforcing treaties the rest of these negative narratives would go away.
@cjkc_life09@MikeWiseguy I am a Mohican, so nether “American Indian nor Native American,” strikes me as being very appropriate. But I am interested in your data suggesting “many of us” are Chiefs fans. I am not a Chiefs fan, nor do I know of any other indigenous who are, am sure are some, but “many.”?
@MarinersSea@MikeWiseguy This is sick stuff, but hardly original. Remember that little “Tea Party, “ the colonizers threw, back maybe like a couple of centuries ago?
what Tribe are you a citizen of?
@JimBimBum@TannerClarkso Please forget using the word “Tribalism,” unless you’re a citizen of one of the more than 500 actual indigenous American Tribes. Thanks!
@TheTerry_25 Does working for a racist owner who pays grown men to dehumanize other Americans by wearing mascot logos make you proud too? If the logo was the “N” word was on the logo would you be just as proud?
@Redskins @TheTerry_25 Sure he is proud to work for a racist owner who pays grown men to dehumanize other Americans by wearing mascot logos. Really some thing to be proud of.
@Bisghetti So does FOX news which isn’t even really a news channel, but all news outlets are suspect, especially the left and right wing ones. Sad that money really has become more important than truth.
@NPR Seems like a forward thinking project that will help enrich the lives of the rising generations. Good vision by human beings who happen to be Indigenous citizens. Give them credit—not by making them mascots.
@BikeTaxiGuy@brettachapman I wasn’t replying to you. But to the the guy on the video trying to tell me my history. Some people don’t believe in indigenous creation stories.
@BikeTaxiGuy@brettachapman That’s all that Bering land bridge BS. You believe in your God, so many of our Indigenous creation stories are not any less believable than man was made from a pile of dirt. We don’t begrudge you your religion, don’t begrudge us our’s. Stop stealing our history to create yours
