Wow. This is crazy.
A developer trained an AI agent in simulation and deployed it onto a real robotic air hockey table using reinforcement learning.
This robot can track the puck with millimeter-level accuracy and react in roughly 20 milliseconds, fast enough to challenge even skilled human players.
We’re moving from robots that follow programmed rules to machines that learn strategies in simulation and execute them in the physical world.
@AgroNationalism idk, this is an expensive hobby, so it has to be more highbrow than pole dancing.
Not sure what a comparison would be... ice skating, maybe?
we use Glyphosates for pest control when growing our crops, then we bleach and enrich it with iron, thiamin (vitamin B1), niacin (vitamin B3), riboflavin (vitamin B2), and folic acid...
We can't just have wheat, no, we have to have a highly modified product which causes problems
@ASo1omons The only problem I see is he's not factoring in his time/labor.
But if he gets a lot of use out of the excavator, I don't see the problem over a long period. Especially if he can depreciate it in a business...
@mazemoore I'll keep my blackpills to myself, but I definitely want to say some depressing things about humanity and how the general public acts when scared.
It is very disheartening that some otherwise very smart people fell for such an obvious scam.
