Something else I remembered when I read the resources from lesson 12 is that the only media or tv shows that were aired during that time, did not cover the "whole truth" it was more censored or "brushed up" so we could be viewed in a different light towards the non arab countries
As someone that is Egyptian and was there when the arab spring started, I remember that there was a long period of time were social media was banned. (facebook and twitter) Why do you believe that this was the measure the country found best to contain the situation
How do you think you would be effected, as a person now, if diney did not show these messages, that we go back and realize when we become older. IE:Lion King
In lesson 11s documentary abut disney. Do you guys think that they meant to put all these hidden meanings so it can unconsciously be implemented in our brains when we are kids or is it merely for entertainment?
Has this experience shown us that, there are many of our daily "assignments" be it work or school could be done remotely, do you see a change in the way teachers will teach or in the work environment in post-COVID19
Another question towards this issue, do you guys believe, if this pandemic had happened 5 or even 10 years ago, would the learning experience be the same? would it even exist to this point?
The tweet about the proctoringlet me draw on another pointdo you believe concordia has done a good job transfering the whole educational experience(with services not only classes)into onlinedo you believe if this would need to be implemented for longer than a semesterwouldit work
In many classesincluding maybe this one depending on which option is chosen tomorrowthere might be online proctoringSetting aside that many may not have the means of a webcamWith what we learnt from these lessonswould you say it is ethical or unethical for the learningenvironment
While I have now temporarily moved back home, I have found that after two weeks, I have equipped myself with a new concept of learning, In someways it has made me more dependent and responsible. Would you guys agree?
While looking at journal 4, speaking about social media movements, one particularly that comes to mind is the "bell:lets talk" movement. What do you guys think?
In light of all thats been going on the past week, I find it interesting how we are sort of incorporating a lot of what we learned, into reality. Especially how fast professors are adapting to online learning
@AngelaX64822785@AngelaX64822785 I actually believe at this point this should be a right for all students, since the world is reforming and technology is a large part of that now a days
@AngelaX64822785@AngelaX64822785 ya, and I believe that as technology evolves, it will one day completely consume our day to day activities, even more than now!
@AngelaX64822785@AngelaX64822785 Ya sadly, but I believe that a lot of institutions actually provide laptops, I know my highschool did from the beginning of 6th grade to 12th you could loan a laptop free of charge for the year
@AngelaX64822785@AngelaX64822785 Great point! totally, its like we are fixing a problem that creates a bigger problem so we are just in a never ending cycle
