इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र फीस वृद्धि और सीट कटौती के खिलाफ़ अपने भविष्य की लड़ाई लड़ रहे हैं। लेकिन प्रशासन छात्रों को सुनने के बजाय उन पर FIR कर रहा है।

मोदी सरकार की नीति ही युवाओं की आवाज़ दबाना है। सवाल पूछो तो लाठी, विरोध करो तो मुक़दमे, और आवाज़ उठाओ तो पेलेट गन।

जब मैंने छात्रों की बात को सुनने के लिए प्रयागराज आने का फैसला किया, तब से प्रशासन मेरे कार्यक्रम को हर संभव तरीके से रोकने की कोशिश कर रहा है।

साफ़ है, उन्हें छात्रों की गूंज से भी डर लग रहा है।

मैं छात्रों के साथ हूँ। सरकार चाहे जितनी भी कोशिश कर ले, मुझे छात्रों की आवाज़ उठाने से रोक नहीं सकती।

Had a word with Ruchika this afternoon. All I can say is that she is incredibly brave.

She told me she didn't feel the need for counselling because she believes she is strong enough to get through this and is determined to continue standing with the youth in the future as well.

I did advise her to be more careful while participating in protests going forward, and she took that positively.
