The devil didn’t show up in Eden with a pitchfork.
He came as a conversation.
Be careful…
Some “connections” are actually assignments from hell
disguised as curiosity, chemistry, or counsel.
One wrong voice can cost you the whole garden.
Samson didn’t lose his strength in battle.
He lost it in a barber shop with the wrong woman in his lap.
One toxic relationship won’t just break your heart…
it’ll shave your head, blind your eyes, and rewrite your destiny.
Not every pastor will be famous or "stand before nations."
In fact, most won’t. Icons like Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Adeboye, and Pastor Kumuyi are the top 1%.
For the younger generation, not everyone will be another Pastor Iren or Lawrence Oyor.
Look at the 12 disciples—how many became widely known?
Mostly two: Peter and John. Maybe Matthew, because he wrote a Gospel. But Peter and John are the most famous.
What about the others? Not as much. Yet what did Jesus say about them?
“I have kept them in your name, those you gave me I have guarded...” (John 17:12)
And what will happen to them at the end of time?
“The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.” (Revelation 21:14)
So why chase fame? Why think popularity validates your calling?
Why is your idea of ministry success reduced to "standing before kings"?
Do you realize how dangerous fame can be for ministers?
Even Jesus avoided it—until the appointed time.
He often told people and demons not to reveal His identity. He did this so often that scholars call it the Messianic Secret.
Fame is a subtle form of worship. When He fed the crowds, they wanted to make Him king (John 6:15).
Thank God He was discerning. If He had accepted, He would have traded His redemptive mission for politics—and stepped out of God’s will.
We won’t all be famous. Some are given one talent, others five. But all will hear:
“Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord.” (Matthew 25:23)
This is what you must live and serve for—whether your YouTube Shorts get 97k views or just 16…
Whether no one joins your livestream or millions join like the Hallelujah Challenge.
Serve your Master.
Your one assignment is to deliver the flock Jesus gave you holy to Him—whether they are 217 people or 190,000 around the world.
“So that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.” (Philippians 2:16)
Not running in vain is your goal. That means delivering to Jesus holy the flock He gave you.
We pray that God will help you, keep you, and fill you with wisdom, servant of God.
Amen.
You’re called.
You’re anointed.
You’ve been obedient.
But nothing’s happening.
No doors.
No opportunities.
You feel invisible.
That’s not a sign that God has abandoned you.
That’s a sign… you’re being hidden.
