I think this could be a win for both sides. If they don’t want to pay Duren big $, a 2 year sabonis rental wouldn’t be the worst for Detroit.

Would be a good swing for Perry on a kind of defensive anchor we’ve never seen in Sacramento.

I'm not the biggest Alex Karaban fan, but my early impression is that his defense is salvageable provided he's mostly just asked to guard slower 4s.

Obviously has major athleticism issues, but a strong build, 6'11 WS, and high IQ cushion these flaws.
