In Kibera, young girls are being empowered to build their agency. This ensures they not only feel safe at school and at community, but also supports them focus on their education. In partnership with MAIDA CBO, we're sustaining engagement with girls at Kibera comprehensive school

Maida CBO was honoured to be part of the Coalition of Youth Peace and Security Pre-Summit Youth Dialogue at Serena Hotel.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect, learn and contribute to conversations on peace, security and youth participation.

Period poverty is not just the lack of access to sanitary pads by girls during menstruation. It includes lack of access to the very basic SRHR information and services at a critical moment of a girl's growth. Together with MAIDA CBO, we are sensitizing girls from Kibra on #SRHR

We joined Eco Networks, the Malaysian High Commission, and Amani Kibra at Kibra Primary School for the handover of a Mobile Science Lab.

This is a meaningful step toward making STEM learning more practical, accessible

On #MenstrualHygieneDay, we partnered with @MenEndFGM to conduct a pads drive at Kibra Primary School.

Together, we supported girls with menstrual products and conversations on menstrual health, dignity, and education. No girl should miss school because of her period.
