We are so proud of our member, Lucy, who ran her first London Marathon with her daughter and together became the Guinness World Record Holders for the faster marathon run by a visually impaired Mother and Daughter! They are amazing!
In April, it was our 12th birthday. We enjoyed cake and prosecco and were entertained by the wonderful Tom Chambers, Father Brown actor and Strictly winner, pictured here with one of our members.
We've been very busy lately! In March we were delighted to present our 2023-24 nominated local charity People To Places with a cheque for £700. Here is Grant Oliver receiving the cheque from our President Sue Ingram.
Our President Sue has been busy again on our behalf! This time she was very happy to deliver our seasonal donations to @FoodbankBerks who were delighted to receive the many items and especially the store gift vouchers that our members have collected. Thank you everyone!
We were happy to deliver more than 40 gift bags to @TheBabyBank each containing a pair of pyjamas, a book and a chocolate selection box, all generously donated by our members for distribution to local families this Christmas.
