In Feb this year I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer. This weekend, after 4 of 6 Chemo sessions I'm running Race for Life.

All being well, I'm 50% of the way through chemo now. It's a ride for sure. Next week I find out how well its working 🤞🤞🤞

This week has been good news/bad news.

Good news: chemo #1 checked off and side effects have been manageable. Such a relief as the anxiety on coping is huge.

Bad news: cancer is in the lymph which = stage 3. Not much change for now, but radiotherapy and more surgery later.

A tricky week gone, and another to come.
Last week I was diagnosed with breast cancer, this week I will discover the prognosis & treatment plan.
2 lumps & possible lymph, so I'm anticipating chemo & surgery.
I'm doing ok & very much up for the fight.

@afcbournemouth has been built on backs-to-the-wall positivity and togetherness. Anyone watching will see that that hasn't been seen recently when we needed it. Parker clearly wasn't the right fit. Interesting to see who takes the helm now

@vikki4mdnp @TanglewoodSteve Interesting too that it shows the 'behind closed doors' decision making and makes a mockery of 'debate' in council if a member can't change their mind.
I could never be part of a party that has those expectations as it undermines my ability to do what I believe is right.
