@kyliu99 I just read The Paper Menagerie collection and would love to get it for my partner's parents, who would read it in Chinese. Do you know if The Paper Menagerie has been translated in full? tyvm for creating
@BTStranslation_ I actually am looking forward to spacing them out over the week. I did some while stretching today and it was really relaxing. But yes, content flood!
@blackswannie613@BTStranslation_@blackswannie613 nailed it perfectly! I appreciate you so much and know that I would nowhere near the level of fan I am today without you. BTS helped me a lot this fall and they couldn't have helped me without you translating! ๐
@BTStranslation_ I'm sorry I wasn't there in the moment to help. For the future, when I'm having trouble calming down, I hold an ice cube in my palm and concentrate. That helps me slow down my breathing and get grounded. I really appreciate and am so happy for the infinite work you do๐
@nihaarsinha The problem isn't your ideas to nuance political alignment, itโs that youโre specifically saying you got it from them. You are cheapening their existential struggle with your troubles with political labeling. If you can avoid drawing that comparison, you'd avoid this problem
@nihaarsinha Not really. You're trying to use an evolving and developing language from people who have been hurt and killed because they weren't recognized for who they are, and how their bodies differ from society's labels and expectations. That pain is far different than that of politics
@nihaarsinha A more complex gender identity is only beginning to see broader acceptance. Allow the people it is helping own it and not feel that how they describe their gender identity (something innate & they canโt decide to change) is on equal footing with political identity
@nihaarsinha You can be more descriptive of what constitutes your political positions without appropriating gender identity language, for example calling it โpolitical pronounsโ
