I just saw a video of a farmer in Lagos that lost his investment of almost 20 million to the flood. He started the business with his friend and they lost everything just like that. All their birds and fishes gone. Her tears really broke my heart.💔🥺

I don’t think it’s automatically betrayal, but I do think there should be boundaries.

There are billions of people in the world. If we’re truly friends, I’d expect a conversation before you start dating someone I once loved, especially if it was a serious relationship.

Some friendships can handle it, some can’t. But pretending it shouldn’t affect the friendship at all is unrealistic. Not everything that is technically “allowed” is considerate.

there was a time i was struggling to pay my rent. the amount was more than i could handle, so i opened up to my pastor.

at the end of the service, he asked the church to give a special offering and told everyone that a member was in need. the love and generosity that day still leaves me speechless.

by the grace of God, they raised the entire amount i needed. i’ll never forget that moment. it reminded me that sometimes, god answers prayers through people with compassionate hearts.

i’ll forever be grateful for that act of kindness. may i also be in a position to help someone else the same way one day.
