Personally, may I recommend Colorado. It's a very nice place with lots of brilliant creative professionals who could revolutionize entertainment, and with the exception of Braindead Boebert's areas, it's a pretty welcoming state!
It's ridiculous to think #Disney can pack up #WDW out of FL. However, they don't have to move #WDI or any other corporate division there. There are 48 other states that aren't FL or CA. Move non-site critical businesses out of FL. Economics is the biggest chip Disney can play.
@WDWNT It had a theme. That through technological breakthroughs and cultural cooperation, we could build a better world. But guests don’t want to be told they can be better. They want to be told they are special and the Star of the attraction instead of a small part of the solution.
@4gottenfuturist @HorizonsOne I think it'd be a nice touch if when they figure out how to save the future, Guinan suddenly does know him, as it would be the indicator that the timeline is restored. It'd be a little BTTF-ish, but with Lea Thompson directing episodes, seems pretty possible to me.
@themeparkjosh I have amazing mountain views in Colorado, and take the state as a whole it's pretty solid blue now. Although, to be fair, it's not affordable in the least, even if you're not in the big cities.
In another culture war, Fla. legislators ordered Disney to change its employee-diversity program, saying it had no place "in our great nation.”
Wanna guess whether Disney fights back?
Or just rolls over & plays dead, so it can keep on getting tax breaks.

@iseekken@cinderchellaaa It absolutely is racist, as it is playing upon long established racial stereotypes that devolve millennia of Native American culture down to the perception that they are savage and uncivilized, aka, inferior to the Europeans seeking moral vindication for the slaughter of natives.
This is beyond disgusting, beyond disrespectful, and I just cannot believe something like this exists in this century. Shame on the school for this disgraceful routine, and honestly, shame on Disney allowing it at all and not stopping it when it started. This is not ok.
Cuz a bunch of kids in fringe chanting “scalp ‘em Indians, scalp ‘em” is honor, right?
And any Natives who attend @pngisd should prolly just accept their classmates dehumanizing them cuz “tradition”, right?
Shame on @DisneyParks hosting this. Nostalgic racism is RACISM.
@iseekken@cinderchellaaa Slavery is a vile and horrific practice that is history. Rape is a vile and horrific practice that is also history. Infanticide is a vile and horrific practice that is also history. Should any of these be parodied for a high school dance routine?
@4gottenfuturist Maybe it’s like the University of Minnesota campus, Starfleet West Bank and East Bank. I feel like they always said was in the Presidio, and pretty much every show since then has had it on the other side of the bay.
