They have not elevated Kevin Knight we can stop that one right there. He has been on a free fall since joining the group. Talent have gotten elevated but as a heel faction it has not given you anyone that you want to boo or hate. Only DC gets boo’d consistently the rest its either mix or cheered or sometimes silence. Maybe that’s just pro wrestling today or maybe DCF talent that they actually care about get over but they don’t create major heels that people want to see lose or want to boo consistently.

Also a 4 for 25 clip is not something to pound our chest over.

Are The only ones to be truly elevated. I’m not giving them Okada and the group had nothing to do with Andrade getting over it was his catchphrase that got him over not being associated with DCF.

People don’t give Don Callis Family enough credit.

Yes they have too many members! But you cannot deny that Don Callis and this faction has elevated more talent than almost any faction in recent memory.

After joining DCF:

Mark Davis has been elevated to new heights nobody saw before he got injured and stopped tagging with Kyle.

Takeshita was elevated coming out of a major feud and face turn, and turned into a star.

Andrade came out of the DCF better than ever and has never been more over or close to the main event.

Kevin Knight showing his heel chops has been great for his development and let him shine in a way we didn’t see coming,

And most of all Kyle Fletcher has been catapulted to main event stardom and possibly the most complete pro wrestler on the planet, after his tag partner got injured and went on his own path with DCF.

You can absolutely have a problem with the amount of members, but you cannot deny that the Don Callis Family has elevated talent and done wonders for the future of the main event scene in this company.

Tell me I’m wrong…

It wasn’t leading towards that…. Mox shaking hands at the end with Ospreay was a clear sign that it was over. I think DR vs BC was probably the original plan until PAC’s death and White’s “injury”

Blood and Guts this year was clearly leading to United Empire vs Death Riders with the main characters being Pac and Mox, they were teasing this break up for weeks if not months.

After the tragedy, AEW had to pivot at the last minute and we got this.

They can get a pass this year on Blood and Guts in the circumstances.

Yes it’s very thrown together, but there is still some background here and some story they have tried to tell over the past couple of weeks since the pivot,

But this years blood and guts will always be a “what could have been”

@bangbangchannel @thesmartmark There was no clear plan that it was gonna be UE vs the TDR especially if the apparent plan according to Smartmark was for Pac to turn. You turn TDR on Ospreay then what? Pac wasn’t gonna be the leader of the TDR and Newman Ospreay blow up was not gonna happen on AEW TV.

Longest matches
Always on last
Become champion
Always win
Don’t lose for years
Heyman do your promos
Pair with a tag team that’s won the most titles
Pair with a scene stealer like Sami

That formula works for almost anybody.

Took Roman six years to get fans behind him. Took Goldberg six months but whatever.

Put some respect on Cardona’s name.

These guys are all working hard but some get breaks and others don’t.
