Kerwin Espinosa revealed that then-Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Bato Dela Rosa pressured him to admit guilt in drug operations and implicate high-profile individuals, including Peter Lim and then-Sen. Leila de Lima, in order to protect himself and his family.

During the eighth public hearing of the House Quad-Committee on Friday, October 11, Espinosa recounted being advised to acknowledge his involvement in drug operations in the Philippines and to name prominent figures to strengthen the case against them.

He claimed that failure to comply with this plan could have dire consequences, warning that what happened to his father could also occur to him or a member of his family.
