25 years since Australia’s service in Afghanistan, our nation pays our deepest respect and gratitude to all who served our country.
We honour those who went and those who fell.
Those who came home wounded in body or soul.
And we honour their families and loved ones.
Lest we forget.
So it seems the FlyDubai hijacker was radicalized in Australia, more specifically, by a mosque in Melbourne.
According to UAE investigators, the co-pilot who attempted to crash a passenger aircraft into Israel's Ben Gurion Airport began his radicalisation while studying at RMIT in Melbourne.
He regularly attended an RMIT affiliated mosque, where he reportedly encountered individuals connected to MyCentre, led by Sheikh Samir Mohtadi, also known as Abu Hamza.
The suspect also alleged that the centre received support from an association linked to the Muslim Brotherhood.
But there's more.
In 2025, Mohtadi came under scrutiny for inflammatory sermons and statements, portraying Australian society as engaged in an ideological war against Islam. He told his followers they shouldn't adopt any Australian values.
His statements were serious enough to be raised in the Victorian Parliament, where questions were also asked about government funding involving MyCentre associated organisations. To date, the Victorian Labor government has awarded this mosque upwards of $500,000.
Meanwhile, the organisation has been raising millions for an enormous Islamic sharia sanctuary in Mickleham.
The proposed development includes a mosque, Islamic schools, aged care and extensive community facilities. Its latest fundraising campaign reports $5.3 million raised towards a $6.9 million target. How they've been able to raise such a significant amount of money remains a mystery, but not very difficult to guess.
Australia has a very serious Islam problem.
Anyone who starts their email with ‘respectfully’ is being anything but respectful.
Be transparent Dave, about who you support, and be better informed about what you speak of, rather than using garbage Liberal talking points.
No. Energy is a residual state power under the Australian Constitution, not an enumerated Commonwealth head of power. National energy laws (such as the National Electricity Law) operate through cooperative state application legislation and require agreement among participating jurisdictions for changes. Valid Commonwealth laws enacted under other powers can prevail over inconsistent state laws under section 109, which the government invokes for proposed national data centre standards.
🚨BREAKING: A retired British police officer has been convicted and fined for sharing a meme.
The post said:
“Fun facts about bacon! People who eat bacon have a lower chance of marrying a 9-year-old!”
Stephen Gray, 65, spent 30 years as a police officer. He said the meme was satirical and meant to spark debate about child marriage.
A judge ruled it “grossly offensive.”
He now has a criminal record.

$860 million of your tax dollars spent on consultants—and Labor expects Australians to believe that’s fair and reasonable? Enough. Canberra’s parasites must get the message: waste is not wanted. Meanwhile, @AlboMP is splashing out at a $150 million conference in Fiji. ⤵️
Sudanese woman here, 15 years in Australia.
Saw the Monash Freeway car chase today, stolen cars, home invasion, six arrested.
If they’re Sudanese, send them home. I followed the rules. They should too.
That’s why I’m voting One Nation.
⚡ THE CLIMATE SUMMIT THAT LOST THE POWER
You couldn't write the script.
At the Pre-COP31 climate summit in Fiji, thousands gathered to discuss the future of global energy.
Then the power went out.
🔌 The blackout knocked out the lights and air conditioning.
🚪 Organisers had to open the doors to keep delegates cool.
💰 Meanwhile, Australian taxpayers are footing a bill of more than $20 million for the event.
And this is the same government telling Australians that we need to transform our electricity system in the name of Net Zero.
Perhaps the lights going out was the most honest presentation at the conference.
Australia needs an energy policy based on reliability, affordability and engineering reality — not conferences, targets and slogans.

Capital gains tax shouldn’t exist.
I risk my money. I build the business. I make the investment. I do the work. I take the risk.
So why the hell should the government take a cut ?
They risk nothing. They do nothing. They just take.
Parasites.
Labor is in absolute panic mode as the government turns on itself.
Treasury Secretary Jenny Wilkinson has launched an extraordinary internal crackdown, demanding officials inform on their own colleagues suspected of leaking Jim Chalmers’ chaotic budget tax plans.
Here is how the wheels are falling off Albanese’s economic engine.
There is an internal civil war as Wilkinson’s memo directly questions the “judgment and professionalism” of her own Treasury mandarins, sparking massive internal tension.
There has been a mass exodus and cronyism with over 50 leadership changes have rocked Treasury since the budget, with staff privately blowing the whistle on jobs being handed to political appointments who lack basic skills.
The Corporate Tax Association and peak business groups are slamming the rushed CGT changes, calling the consultation windows “absurdly short and “wholly inadequate”. They openly state Treasury was dealt a “poor hand” by Labor.
This meltdown comes as government spending hits a 40 year high, outside Covid, productivity plummets to 60 year lows, and the overall tax take explodes to 24.1% of GDP.
Jim Chalmers’ department is gripped by mistrust, bad modelling, and an authoritarian hunt for leakers as their rushed tax policies implode.
Labor’s economic credibility isn’t just leaking, it’s completely sinking.
