@LT_inLA@KevinHarrah2@DadBod337@susancolvin333 Also, all of the Fed drug crimes are listed in Title 21 (Food and Drug Code), not in Title 18 (Crime Code). The list goes on and on. Then there are all the individual state codes that prove you are incorrect...
@LT_inLA@KevinHarrah2@DadBod337@susancolvin333 Incorrect. Violating a law makes you a criminal. A simple example that covers ALL of the US: Willfully evading taxes is a FELONY in Title 26 (IRS Code) of the US Code, not in Title 18 (Crime Code). Unless you contend Al Capone didn't die in prison for being a criminal...?
@LT_inLA@KevinHarrah2@DadBod337@susancolvin333 Incorrect. If something is illegal, it violates a law and is subject to punishment: death, imprisonment, fine. That is literally a crime. Just because a law isn't in the "crim code" or "penal code" doesn't make it not a crime.
@alynnfarrelly@Juju315858@thevivafrei Yes, just like the government of the USSR, Nazi Germany, Pol Pot in Cambodia, Mao in China...your trust of the .gov to take the life of it's citizens behind closed doors is astounding. To ensure it's done right, shining a light on it is the only way.
@jdegeneffes@thevivafrei Yes, let the .gov mete out the ultimate punishment in secret, behind closed doors without oversight of the people/citizenry. What could possibly go wrong?
@alynnfarrelly@Juju315858@thevivafrei Just like every other murder/act of violence caught on video in the last 20 years so...that's essentially meaningless.
@ShaykhSulaiman Protesting doesn't include committing crimes, which that person clearly was. If you can't get that simple fact correct, the rest of your statement/allegation isn't worth consideration.
@farhip@Rightonrights The death penalty, when carried out to completion, 100% GUARANTEES to deter the condemned/guilty party from committing further crimes. That one deterrence is enough.
