I couldn’t be prouder of these boys today, 1-0 down to Northfield, up against it and we turned it on. Final score 3-2, every one of them excellent but Patrick with 2 and Dominic at the back MOTM, double cup winners 🏆 🏆

Double Cup Winners
Proud of each and every single one of them, took us 3 years but it came together last weekend. We’ve lost some players we’ve gained some players but they all player their part. We’ve beat the best the league could throw at us. Roll on 26/27 🏆🏆

Brilliant game this morning v unbeaten Northfield. Every player putting a shift in, winning battles with us edging a tight game 2-1. It could have been 4-4 but we got the rub of the green today. MOTM Joe Mc, best player on the pitch, won everything. Onto the final v Northfield 😂

Great game this morning with a couple of dubious decisions thrown in by the ref v Quarry Green. We edged it this morning 5-4, hanging on for the last 5 minutes! MOTM went to James and Joel, both superb. Onto next week 👊

Good game for the neutral this morning v @Santosjfc14 who edged a close game 2-1, could have went either way, good football all over the pitch just wasn’t our day today. MOTM went to Joe at the back, great performance and leading by example. Onto the next one 👊

Cup final today v Southport Athletic, a really good game to watch and thankfully we managed to weather a late storm to get over the line 2-1 winners. Silverware for the boys going into the last cup of the season. MOTM goalscorer Joel who was outstanding

Semi today v Claybrow having had to reverse match fixing last week to get us into the game, yes really. As one sided a game as you’ll ever see, their keeper outstanding to keep us only at 3-0. We march on to the final.

Beaten fair and square by a very good Northfield today. Nothing in it first half but a couple of injuries and their ruthlessness in front of goal took them to a 5-1 win. Dust ourselves down and go again for the final comp of the season

As good as we’ve played this morning against the wind and rain, superb from back to front, 8-0 at half time, the ref calling it due to the score and weather 10 into the second. 5 goal Jayden MOTM, great to have him back firing again 👊

@spiritofshankly @premierleague Moan about anything. 7 years of freezes, at some point it’d go up. It’s pennies per game, the first increase since before Covid.

Based on this I’m sure you’ll never ask for a wage rise and you won’t complain when your employer doesn’t increase your wages with inflation 🫡

2 disappointing games on the spin, Newburgh 3-2 defeat with 10 men, Noah MOTM. Claybrow 1-1 draw with 10 men. Less said about the ref the better, not good enough, must do better this week to stay in the top cup completion. No MOTM this week. Onto the next one 👊

Back to league action against Southport FC. We should have been 3 or 4 up at half time but finishing was off. Tried to play all game but the pitches are a joke. Winning 3-2, down to 10 men which sounds much closer than it was. Noah MOTM, covered every blade of grass 👊
