We said we would take the message of Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe to every corner of Greater Kosofe and we meant every corner.

Yesterday, our team was out again, moving from community to community and engaging directly with our people.

We started with Irepodun Shangisha, Unity Shangisha and Shangisha North CDAs, where we were warmly received by the people. We had honest, heart-to-heart conversations, listened to their concerns and aspirations, and shared our vision for stronger representation at the National Assembly.

From there, we moved through Olowoira CDA, Idi-Orogbo, Unity, Irewolede, Idera, Ifesowapo, Irepodun, Kareem and Ifelodun CDAs.

We continued to Isheri CDA, Isheri-Oke, Isheri-Atere and Gateway CDAs, before rounding off the day with engagements at Magodo CDA and Unilag Estate CDA.

It was another remarkable day of connection, listening and community engagement.

Everywhere we went, one thing stood out: our people want representation that is accessible, responsive and truly connected to them.

And it was beautiful to see the strength of our party at the grassroots. From community to community, the message remains clear: APC from top to bottom.

The journey continues. We are coming to every ward, every CDA, every community and every corner of Greater Kosofe.

The message of Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe continues to reach more stakeholders across Greater Kosofe, and the engagements have been encouraging.

We met with the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria, Ikosi-Isheri and Agboyi-Ketu Branches, the okada riders and Marwa operators. It was a wonderful engagement with amazing people, and the association pledged its support for the journey ahead.

The team also met with the Council of Baales, Kosofe Local Government, where we had a valuable discussion and received royal blessings, wise counsel and prayers for the task ahead.

We are listening, engaging and taking the message of Stronger Representation, Stronger Kosofe to every stakeholder.

The message is clear: we are coming to every community, every ward and every corner of Kosofe. And our executives are ready to hold their zones tight and deliver the support needed for victory.

The MDO Campaign Team Led by the DG, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada visited the League of Imams and Alfas, Ikosi-Isheri Branch, where we were warmly received.

We prayed together, shared our vision for a stronger Kosofe, and received their prayers and pledge of support.

We also visited the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikosi Branch, where we received the same warmth, prayers and assurances of support.

This is the Kosofe we are building! One that listens, engages and carries everyone along.

The support is growing and we are not slowing down. Every corner of Kosofe will get the message.

I welcome the African Union’s announcement that the African Credit Rating Agency (AfCRA) will officially launch on October 7. @_AfricanUnion

In February, I made the case in the Financial Times for an African credit rating agency. In May, at the Africa CEO Forum @africaceoforum in Kigali, I spoke again about the need for Africa to build financial institutions that understand our economies and can assess our risks properly.

AfCRA is another step towards that goal.

Africa is not asking for favourable ratings. We are asking for fair ratings, grounded in our fundamentals and in the reforms our economies are actually carrying out.

AfCRA must now earn the confidence of global capital. That confidence will rest on its independence and the rigour of its work.

I look forward to October 7.

The message of a Greater Kosofe continues, and this time, it came with royal blessings and strong assurances of support.

The team paid a courtesy visit to the Oba Onikosi of Ikosi, HRM Oba Alamu Oloyede, Chairman of the Council of Obas of Greater Kosofe. His support for our cause has been unwavering from day one, and once again, we received his royal blessings and prayers ahead of the coming general election. His commitment remains firm and deeply appreciated.

We also visited His Royal Majesty, Oba Shangisha Magodo, Oba Jamiu Lawal Aileru, who equally pledged his support for all our party’s candidates, from our father and leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through to every candidate representing the APC.

The team thereafter met with the Council of Baales of Ikosi-Isheri, where we received their prayers, goodwill and solid support for the party.

It was a day of meaningful royal engagements, prayers and strong assurances. We are grateful for the confidence and backing of our traditional institutions as we continue this journey.

The message of a Greater Kosofe will reach every corner. We are only getting started.

As we stated from the beginning, we are taking the message of stronger representation to every corner of Kosofe, and yesterday was another step in that direction.

The team met with the Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria, Ikosi-Isheri Branch, where we shared our message and vision for a stronger Kosofe. We were received with open arms, had a very encouraging conversation, and received their pledge of full support.

The MDO campaign team is not slowing down. We are on the ground, engaging our people, listening to them and building the momentum needed for victory across the board: from our father and leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to our Governorship Candidate, Dr. Obafemi Kadiri, our Senator, Tokunbo Abiru, and our candidates for the House of Representatives and House of Assembly, Mayor Dele Oshinowo, Muritala Seriki and Okanlawon Sanni.

From Ikosi-Isheri, we proceeded to the Police Community Relations Committee at the Ketu Police Barracks.

That visit was different. We sat with the people, had a heart-to-heart conversation and took time to go around the barracks to see the situation firsthand. Beyond words, we wanted to understand their immediate needs and see where we could make a meaningful difference.

Right there, we made a commitment to donate 15 solar lights to help illuminate the barracks and improve the environment for the residents.

This is what stronger representation means to us! Being present, listening to our people and responding where we can.

The journey has begun, and we are taking the message to every corner of Kosofe.
