Resistance, defiance, pride… whatever you wanna call it, the Jewish people will never be cowed by threats. Love this for those kids. Happy Hanukkah! #Chanukah
CST is aware of the antisemitic incident that took place in London last night and are supporting those involved. “This disgusting incident goes against everything this city stands for and should be condemned by all.”

"The group is opposed not just to the idea of any sort of peace process with Israel but rejects the very existence of the Jewish state in the first place," Mainstream chairman @LordIanAustin on why @pritipatel is right to proscribe Hamas

Great to announce that @bournemouthuni has adopted the IHRA Definition of Antisemitism, making it the 100th University in the UK and Ireland

Labour still has a long way to go to tackle an obsession with Israel that exists within parts of the parliamentary party. The leader must remove the whip from MPs who support BDS and, in his own words, subject Israel to "standards no other country is subjected" to.
@Keir_Starmer says "anti-zionist antisemitism is the antithesis of the Labour tradition" and the Labour party "will not support BDS". Important words now need to be matched by action.
Yesterday @Keir_Starmer said that antizionism and BDS didn’t belong in the Labour Party.
Words matter, so do actions. @UKLabour MPs who continue to support antizionism and BDS and attend antisemitic hate rallies need to be removed. No ifs, no buts.

Utterly heartbreaking listening to Azeem Rafiq say things got so bad after the racism he suffered that he left the UK and never wanted to come back, through tears. Everyone needs to hear his story. The committee has taken a short break.
Disgraceful scenes in London last night as a mob targeted Israeli Ambassador @TzipiHotovely
We believe in freedom of speech in Britain.
The vast majority of people in the UK want closer ties and value the partnership with our ally Israel, the region's only democracy.
The LSE has finally put out statement about the appalling abuse aimed at Israel Ambassador Tzipi Hotovely, after she spoke to the LSE SU Debate Society. It brands threats of violence "completely unacceptable" and promises "disciplinary action" against students making threats
Senior politicians have reacted to last nights incident at LSE with @pritipatel calling it “disgusting” and @trussliz saying attempts to silence @TzipiHotovely were “unacceptable”

Shocking and unacceptable intimidation and violence at @LSEnews last night directed towards @TzipiHotovely. There are many ways to voice disagreement but this must be condemned.
So Israel Embassy @IsraelinUK Foreign Sec @trussliz Education Sec @nadhimzahawi and @BoardofDeputies have all issued statements about the appalling scenes at the LSE last night. Why are still waiting for any statement from @LSEnews?
Our community has been truly blessed to have benefitted from the outstanding leadership of Jonathan Goldstein. He has served the JLC with distinction, providing sterling leadership during exceptionally challenging times. I wish him well in all of his future endeavours.
Absolutely shameful scenes as students boo and scream abuse at the Israel Ambassador after she was invited to speak at the LSE - some of the footage filmed by terrified Jewish students. All on the anniversary of Kristallnacht.
