Five tankers went down or burned off Kharg and Jask today, hit with thousand-pound bombs.

That's the new American policy, and about an hour later Iran showed what it had prepared for exactly this moment.

Somewhere between 30 and 70 ballistic missiles reportedly rose from launch sites stretching from Bushehr to Tehran, aimed at American bases in Jordan.

Malcolm Nance spotted the warheads splitting open in the videos, each one scattering dozens of basketball-sized bomblets over the runways and hangars, the same missiles Iran once reserved for Tel Aviv.

Patriots can stop the missile. They can't stop what falls out of it.

Iran keeps a whiteboard of every tanker lost, plus a war tax it plans to bill in the next deal.

Washington keeps a Navy that has run out of moves except sinking ships.

🇬🇧🇮🇱 Twelve countries banned trade with Israel's settlements, and Israel answered by shutting Britain's consulate in Jerusalem and backing Argentina's claim to the Falklands

Britain moved first, then France, Canada, Spain, Poland and seven others followed with a joint ban on goods from the settlements.

Israel's reply took hours.

The British consulate in Jerusalem is closing, twelve Britons are barred from entering, and London is out of the US-led Gaza peace mission.

Smotrich demanded the ambassador be expelled tonight.

Ben Gvir went further, calling the Falklands occupied Argentine land and accusing Britain of stealing its oil, this from a government running settlements in the West Bank.

Then Washington joined in.

A Florida congressman warned British firms could be punished under state anti-boycott laws, and Ambassador Huckabee told the BBC a US response was coming:

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 American jets hit Iranian tankers near Kharg Island, and Iran ordered every tanker crew in Kuwait and Bahrain to abandon ship

The Americans warned Iranian crews to get off their tankers, then struck them near Kharg and Sirri islands. Within minutes Iran's navy told every crew anchored or docked in Kuwait and Bahrain to leave their ships, naming both countries as partners in the attack, and its central command promised that tankers hit means American bases hit.

Larry Johnson added the detail that settles the weekend's argument.

The missiles that flew over the George Washington were airbursts, built to explode above the ship rather than on it:

"you get a warning, now get out or stick around and pay the price"

Washington stayed.

The Wall Street Journal says Iran hit at the Navy again Monday, unannounced, possibly with Chinese and Russian help finding the ships.

Then came today's tankers.

The growth pace on Robinhood's chain is unreal.

In around 2 months:

→ TVL went from $42.3M to $783M (1,750%)
→ Stablecoin supply went from $241M to $868M (260%)
→ Daily DEX volume went from $32.4M to $1.55B (4,680%)
→ Daily chain fees went from $3.8K to $4.59M (120,800%)

Pretty ridiculous numbers for such a short time.

Also, DEX volume grew much faster than TVL, which tells you the growth is coming from heavy trading, not just people depositing more capital.

Again, this is a big result of Robinhood being established in this space. It already had millions of users, wallets, stock tokens, stablecoins, and partners before the chain's launch.

The memecoin rally will be the main thing we remember it by going forward, though.
