🚨🇺🇸 Andrew Tate's entire legal strategy comes down to one thing: keeping his case out of a courtroom where evidence is tested in front of a judge and jury.

"I've never been found guilty of anything."

True. And it's true only because he has done everything in his power to stay out of that courtroom.

"An innocent man doesn't run from justice."

Watch closely, because Tate doesn't run. He turns up to his court dates. He'd be a fool not to - his judicial control in Romania was so lax that showing up cost him nothing. But turning up isn't the opposite of running from justice. It's a cheap version of it.

His Romanian strategy was to game the system, and the system let him. The Romanian courts are in turmoil - slow, overloaded, easy to stall. They allow defence lawyers to contest a case file running to tens of thousands of pages line by line, word by word, punctuation mark by punctuation mark, in pre-trial. And because his extradition to the UK was only ever going to happen once Romania was finished with him, every year of Romanian delay bought another year of safety from British justice.

So he told the world his case had collapsed. That prosecutors had no evidence. That there were no victims. That he'd been exonerated. None of it was true. Romania annulled the first indictment on procedural grounds - a drafting defect, not a lack of evidence - and the case was refiled with additional charges. His fans didn't care. The delay did the work regardless.

He boasted that the case could take twenty years. In his telling, that meant he was effectively free, as long as he stayed out of the UK, where a parallel prosecution was waiting.

Then hubris got the better of him. He couldn't resist the US, where podcasts, the UFC and Washington treated him like a celebrity rather than a defendant. He's a dual British-American citizen, and the US was the one place he felt untouchable. Now he sits in federal detention in Miami, awaiting extradition.

So watch what his lawyer does. Joseph McBride isn't arguing the law - the extradition process is procedural, and it runs against him. He's arguing politics. Tate can't get a fair trial in the UK, McBride says, because of "woke" bias.

It's the same move, in a new country. Romania was "corrupt." The UK is "woke." Every jurisdiction that might actually test the evidence gets disqualified in advance. So where, exactly, does McBride want Tate - a British citizen who has lived in Romania since 2017 - to answer for what he's accused of in Britain and Romania?

The UK ranks 14th in the world for rule of law. The US, where McBride practises, ranks 27th. He has produced no evidence that Tate won't get a fair British trial. What he's produced is a reason to avoid one.

An innocent man doesn't run from justice. Tate doesn't run. He just makes sure the evidence never reaches a jury.

Keep asking yourself why.
