Literally beat this on insane last night and it’s a WILD choice out of every other gun in the game you have access to, you chose to use the LANCER for this fight. Most unserious complaint. 😂

Twitch streamer and members of her community get a 170 BAN for exploiting in #Wardogs. Seems to be making the group $300-$500k in a game.

My only issue with this, I'd ban permanently.

This is a wild series of events 🤣Here's what they did:

❌Large squad (20ish) of premade builds FOB on edge of CZ
❌Places a "city" of bunkers. Group works together to build up quickly
❌Tells logi not to deliver ammo "because it will be abandoned soon"
❌Squad member says "we're so getting banned for this, we're kinda exploiting"
❌Squad member is then told to GTFO
❌Streamer tells them to let enemies capture the FOB or "RP" capturing someone to get them to steal the FOB
❌Tries to capture multiple enemy players to "make a deal" to have FOB captured
❌Streamer tells squad to hide in the towers, kill enemies if they try to blow it up, but let them capture it
❌ Streamer tells squad to make sure allies don't take it back
❌Once FOB is captured, tells squad to respawn "We're in the money"
❌Mass of Urals with ammo are deployed
❌New FOB is put down on edge of CZ
❌Sees a friendly attempting to capture the bunker city FOB, flies over and tells him not to capture the now enemy FOB. Promises him he'll be a "billionaire" if he leaves it alone.
❌Team kills the ally so he can respawn at HQ to join in the exploiting. Has an ally team kill the streamer to return to HQ.
❌A friendly blows up their FOB, and the streamer later suggests people mass report it if it happens again
❌Builds a new FOB full of mortars
❌Gets squad to deposit small amounts of ammo into the FOB frequently, to give bonus to as many as possible
❌Constant "put a token in the machine" in reference to people continuing to put small amounts of ammo into the FOB.
❌Mortars all fire on original city FOB
❌Entire squad gets huge gains from FOB Supplied Assists

This series of events is very clear. Intentionally abusing multiple mechanics. Encouraging other players not to actively engage with the game as intended, to make the exploit work. Deserves every second of the ban.

This is 20+ people on a team not remotely engaging with the game's intended mechanics; the streamer acknowledges this.

She mentions in a stream she may try to login and be banned, so clearly aware it's questionable. "If it's exploiting, smite me". Makes several references to it potentially being worthy of a ban.

Several members of her community get aggressive/rude when exploiting is mentioned. They all understood what was going on.

If you have to question whether you're exploiting mechanics, chances are, you are.

Mags represents those who are discarded by the COG and corporations despite giving everything. She's battling regrets, depression, and a terminal illness, all brought on by trying to serve. This makes her experienced, but cynical. The locust are a new test for her resolve.

I'm going to speak on Gears specifically for a second. We were in early HS when Gears first dropped and it was the first of its kind all around.

Society has changed in the big 2026 since then. Mindsets, etc. Everyone wants adderall shooters. Gears isnt that. + CONT

Since when is it your dads prerogative to HAVE to do that? Your dad built his career himself and worked his ass off to get where he is. So because he made himself successful people assume he’s obligated to HAVE to prop people up? The fuck happened to working hard? These people are weird.

One of the two examples given is her saving Marcus from a takedown when it’s literally coded that if your solo, the person saving you is the one who enters behind you. Why aren’t you complaining about the cutscene with Tai saving Marcus as well because it could’ve furthered their brotherhood too, right?

And the E-Hole thing, like cmon dude. She’s a former explosives Gear, it’s a reasonable assumption for her to be like, “lemme throw this grenade and see what happens”.

Obviously they’re going to flesh out new characters because we know NOTHING ABOUT THEM. Literally all they fleshed out for Mags is that she’s a prior gear and has a severe case of rustlung. Lucas is a cadet who got his friends killed. Carlos got himself killed and Marcus is living with the guilt of not saving him and not telling Dom the truth. Marcus, Lucas and Mags are all suffering from some form of the exact same guilt.

She never talks down to him. She gives her opinion on how to handle certain situations. She’s jaded and has PTSD. She got dishonorably discharged after her entire squad died due to her mistake and is living with the guilt. She also probably holds a resentment towards the COG.

She’s significantly older than Marcus and obviously she’s going to have a predisposed opinion because he’s a 22 year old SGT and he’s also the son of Adam Fenix.

Watched some E-Day Cinematics Last night and this morning. Mags Is the lead character In this game. She constantly leads scenes, talks down In a condescending tone to Marcus who IS the team leader.

She does all the Investigation, she figures out how to close an e-hole, when she talks no one else talks or argues back with her. This is what ruins Gears. They did the same in Wolverine.

People always say to me "But you haven't played It" holding the controller doesn't change any of this, It's still there. I will not give money to game studios who lie and try to have their cake and eat It too.

The word Is out that this shit loses money, after Steller Blade and Black Myth Wukong made bank they started to shift there marketing and trailers to try be sneaky about this stuff.

They market the game like It doesn't have this stuff In It. But It does. Remember If you are a straight guy who plays Gears, there is not flag for you. WHY IS THAT

@Illussives I feel like it’s because the war just ended and he is unsure what he’s going to do after. He’s still dealing with the loss of Carlos as well and is struggling with some form of PTSD. He’s not the stoic confident leader we know because he has to grow into that.
