Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s decision to install the sacred Sengol in the New Parliament building is a historic moment. The sacred Sengol is of national significance and holds historical importance. It was first received by Jawaharlal Nehru on August 14, 1947, in presence of leaders like Shri Rajendra Prasad, from priests specially flown in from Tamilnadu.

A solemn and sacred Tamil tradition of Sengol Vesting Ceremony accompanied by a recital of 11 verses from the Theveram text, invoking the blessings of Shiva, for the ruler took place just before Pandit Nehru hoisted the national flag and made his ‘Tryst with Destiny’ address, symbolising the transfer of power from British Viceroy Lord Mountbatten to Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The Sengol represents the highest moral authority to rule

I thank the Prime Minister for bringing back to life this very important aspect of our history - that the transfer of power to the people of India from a foreign ruler was not direct but through a spiritual process, as known to ancient India. This also emphasises the emotional and spiritual integration of India, from North to South.

There is no more appropriate occasion than Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to recall the event on the eve of India’s independence and no better place for the sacred Sengol, than the hallowed portals of the New Parliament.

करनाल की GOVT. ITI में एक युवक का पेपर था,तो गेट पर ही चेकिंग के दौरान उससे कहा कि "ये धागा निकाल दो" उसके बाद ही एंट्री मिलेगी।
युवक ने कहा ये धागा नही है "जनेऊ" है और मैं इसको नही उतारूंगा,आपके जो बड़े अधिकारी है उनको बुलाइए उनसे बात करूंगा।
वहाँ पर मौजूद पुलिस अधिकारी ने कहा कि बहस मत करो,जनेऊ उतार दो।
युवक ने बड़े स्पष्ट शब्दों में उनको कह दिया इस "जनेऊ" के लिए तो "वीर हकीकत राय" ने अपनी गर्दन कटवा दी थी तो मेरे लिए पेपर छोड़ना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है,"जनेऊ" नहीं उतरेगा चाहे पेपर क्यों न छोड़ना पड़ जाए।
काफ़ी बहस होने के बाद वहाँ "सुपरिडेंट" पहुंचे और कहा कि कोई भी धागा,ताबीज आदि Allowed नहीं है।
युवक ने सिर्फ एक बात कही कि अगर कोई "सरदार जी" पेपर देने आता है और आप उसकी पगड़ी खुलवा के भेज देते हो तो मैं सहर्ष "जनेऊ" उतार दूंगा अन्यथा मैं "जनेऊ" नही उतारूंगा।
उनके पास कोई जवाब नही था,,उन्होंने युवक को मुस्कुराते हुए अंदर जाने की अनुमति दी।
"गर्दन के उतरने पर ही उतरेगा ये यज्ञोपवीत,
ये है हम आर्यों की सबसे पुरानी रीत"

If @ImranKhanPTI is freed by SC, be prepared for more uncertainty because IK will become more dangerous. He will further push the Pak Army. He has presented a model to his PTI workers - if they touch me, burn the country down. They will use this model time and again.

If Asim Munir gets his way now (very unlikely) Pak Army will get further isolated and will be fighting TTP on their west and the Pak public everywhere.
