@thomasrp93 Jalen is the reason every single offensive coach and head coach has a job. I swear to god I mean that, none of those coaches would be coaching in the NFL if it wasn’t for his success all of these years.
I understand being a fan but I don’t understand how anyone can defend what the Eagles have done throughout this entire process with Jalen Hurts.
It feels like he should’ve received a scan before boarding the flight to London — that didn’t happen.
Then once arriving in London and learning that Hurts had a blood clot, they still allowed him to play against the Jaguars and fly back to Philadelphia.
Upon returning to Philadelphia, Hurts was still a full participant in practice and it was once again reported as only a “calf injury.”
Then the public finally learned that it was a blood clot that traveled and that Hurts would miss this week’s game.
Earlier today, Hurts reportedly wasn’t going to be placed on injured reserve by the team.
Fast forward a few hours and now Hurts is being placed on injured reserve and won’t be eligible to return until Week 11 after the bye week.
Given how the Eagles have mismanaged the injury situations for Lane Johnson, Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith Jr. in recent years, it’s hard to have much faith in the team’s medical staff and training staff.
