@visegrad24 Forced mobilization is a huge problem. Zelensky, must let anyone who doesn't want to fight stay home. This is not their war. Open the borders and let those who want to leave - leave. Zelensky and his sick cronies should be the ones blowing themselves up in the trenches. Shame!
@GabrielRoseMp3@detectclips I once had the misfortune of checking in a guitar in a super heavy Gator case, wrapped in extra bubble wrap. Still the case arrived punctured in two places, apparently by a metal rod. Always suspected it was done willfully by an angry person. Now I know...
@visegrad24 What was hit? Looks like it wasn't the apartments. If it happened last night, where are the daytime pics? Still being photoshopped? My guess - Kiev placed a military asset in a densely populated area to use civilians as human shields. AGAIN. Use your mind, stop hate propaganda.🕊️
@Ramy_Sawma@DagnyTaggart963 I'm anti-war. But the world is blind to the hateful ideology that drives Zelensky & his supporters. I made a snapshot of them laughing & thumbs-upping the death of those parents on the Crimea bridge. It's just shameful.
@johnadams7588@Xperience_Snr@RobberyFaiI No life is worthless, kinda the point. We don't know what he could or couldn't do. A crime's a crime. All criminals must pay for their crimes.
Some kill thousands & have libraries & foundations bear their names, others fail at robbing a store & get riddled with bullets.🤷♂️🤔Life.
@DoobieAssassin@Xperience_Snr@RobberyFaiI Yeah, possible. Like I said, to each his own. Your security, your call. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt - he could've tried to use his gun, but he ran. A bad life choice shouldn't always be the last choice. If I sound like a village person, it's cause I am. Stay safe y'all
@merlinmaveric@Xperience_Snr@RobberyFaiI True, tough call in the moment. More training would help. I don't mean to moralize. Just hope the baseline is still proportionality - a bad mistake isn't always a death sentence. That said - to each his own, we all take responsibility for our actions. Stay safe everyone.
@Xperience_Snr@RobberyFaiI Dunno why I'm seeing this, but I have to agree. I'm against robbery, duh! Been robbed at gun point once in my life. But honestly, I'm sure it's better to spare a life. He was running away, not a threat. Obviously, I'm not blaming the shop-owner: clear self-defense. But RIP.🙏
A Quarter Century on: Remembering the Serb civilian victims from Orahovac and the neighbouring villages - #Kosovo
In the heart of Velika Hoča, Kosovo, a grim milestone marks today: 25 years since the devastating losses suffered by Serbs in the municipality of Orahovac.
A memorial service was served by the local parish priest Fr. Milan Stojković and two more priests, alongside a monument dedicated to the kidnapped and murdered victims. Families, relatives, and neighbors of the victims laid wreaths and flowers.
Twenty-five years ago today Kosovo Albanian paramilitaries of KLA executed a mass kidnapping and murder of Serbs in the Orahovac municipality. From July 17 to 22, 1998, more than 100 individuals were abducted and transported to prisons and camps run by the KLA.
In the initial onslaught, seven people were murdered. By the end of July 1998, this region had lost 47 of its Serb inhabitants. The brutalities of kidnappings, murders, and arson attacks on Serb homes did not end there but continued, leading to the total expulsion of the Serb population from the villages of Retimlje, Opteruša, and Zočište during 1998 and 1999. Velika Hoča is the only village in the Municipality with Serb population still remaining as well as a tiny ghetto-like Serbian quarter around the Orahovac church.
A haunting case was that of the Kostić family from Retimlje village: in a single day, 14 male family members were abducted. On the same day, six monks were abducted by KLA from the 14th-century monastery of Saints Cosmas and Damian in Zočište. They were released on July 22, after interventions by the OSCE and International Red Cross, along with two other women, two sick men from the villages of Retimlje and Opteruša, and older individuals from Zočište.
Despite the passage of years, many Serb residents in this area remain listed as missing.
DNA analysis conducted by the internationally led forensic experts identified 36 Serbs in the mass graves of Mališevo and Volujak, who were kidnapped by the KLA in the Orahovac region in July 1998. Several remains of victims kidnapped from 1999 to 2000 were also found in individual graves and were reburied according to the families' wishes.
Serbian Orthodox cemetery of Orahovac
Presents are grim picture of vandalism is almost all gravestones have been overturned or smashed into pieces, another sad picture of ethnic intolerance and discrimination which continues for years with impunity.
The Association of Families of Kidnapped and Missing Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija presented details of the kidnappings and murders to all relevant institutions collecting data on kidnapped, missing, and murdered persons. However, to this day, no one has been held accountable for the crimes committed in the Orahovac municipality.
The #Serbian #Orthodox #Church has frequently condemned all acts of violence against civilians, irrespective of their ethnicity in Kosovo. In the armed conflict of 1999 also many Kosovo Albanians fell victim. A significant number of them remain missing to this day, their bodies yet to be recovered. While prominent members of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia's regime and police have been convicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), no members of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) have ever been held accountable for crimes against Kosovo Serbs, Roma and dissenting Kosovo Albanians, during and after the armed conflict.
The Specialist Chambers Court in The Hague, which is currently primarily focusing on KLA crimes still has yet to deliver justice, despite a delay of two decades.
The absence of justice for all victims equally, along with the tragic memories, continues to weigh heavily on those left behind. The hope is that acknowledgment and remembrance will eventually lead to healing and justice.
@askoldivna@ai_kei_ @cheeseman20202 @visegrad24 Don't even try your reverse blaming play. You're peddling more hate & vilification. Ethnic cleansing of Serbs by NATO-supported terrorist KLA is well documented & accepted. Have a read. You just stepped up from your support for Kiev & NATO - to terrorists. Well done. Just stop.🕊️
@askoldivna@ai_kei_ @cheeseman20202 @visegrad24 Compassion? U talk like a Ukr psyop bot. Using a fake image to demonize anyone is never OK. I don't hate. I'm sure Rus don't support deaths of civilians, as 5mln east-Ukrainians fled to russia. But here's a snap of your Kiev friends' joy over the deaths in Crimea yesterday, RIP🕊️
@JosepBorrellF Mr. Borrell, please don't use #Madiba's name just for easy points. Live it, believe it. Only reconciliation & mutual respect can save lives & stop wars. Counting on you to be an impartial voice for peace & moderation in all matters of importance in the world. 🇿🇦🦒 #madibaday
@askoldivna@ai_kei_ @cheeseman20202 @visegrad24 Are you ok? How's your comprehension? The image above is a fake. That is all. Many things in wars are fake. NATO has whitewashed many warcrimes when it suited them. Accept that you are blinded by your hatred. Clear heads save lives and stop wars.
@askoldivna@ai_kei_ @cheeseman20202 @visegrad24 I mention NATO because the tactic of making insane claims in sponsored media to promote hate, demonize the other side & perpetuate war, while whitewashing the side NATO supports, has been used before to deadly extremes. I'm making a point against the use of false evidence.
@askoldivna@ai_kei_ @cheeseman20202 @visegrad24 How is that relevant to the fact that the image above is a fabrication? It attempts to legitimize an insane claim - soldiers celebrating the downing of civilian aircraft, it attempts to dehumanize & demonize the other side. An analysis must be impartial & rely on real evidence.
@BurnsieJ@Dejan_Ilich Not lazy, this is quite deliberate, and extremely dangerous. This is an effective propaganda policy in the information war - repeat biased claims ad nauseam & whitewash the real perpetrators. The goal is legitimizing any sponsored action they deem necessary. People may die.🕊️
@aravind@historyinmemes Indian mathematicians always amazed me. Can you do a post on Ramanujan? - what an amazing mind. Light years ahead of his time. The importance of some of his equations are only now beginning to be appreciated in the quantum age. https://t.co/GvBXAmGpol

@deepakterra@historyinmemes Truth! Here's a guy who's transmitting power wirelessly at 2000 feet (just under 600m) in turn-of-the-century Colorado, while there's literally still gunslingers robbing stagecoaches! Amazing.🤯
