Ken Paxton is the most corrupt politician in America.
He embodies the broken system we’re running against.
It’s time to come together: The People vs. Ken Paxton
President Zelenskyy and the people of Ukraine were officially nominated for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize today. We all know that the cats deserve it too. @ZelenskyyUa 💙🐱💙
An owl can eat over 1,000 rodents in a year. If you poison the rodents, you poison the owl. And almost every raptor in the US is already being poisoned.
A 2020 Tufts Wildlife Clinic study found that 100% of the red-tailed hawks they tested were positive for anticoagulant rodenticides. Every single bird.
A follow-up study of 46 hawks, owls, foxes, and coyotes from a Massachusetts rehab center between 2022 and 2024 found the same thing: 100% had been poisoned.
Rat poison works by preventing blood clotting. The rodent doesn't die immediately. It bleeds internally for days, becomes lethargic and easy to catch, and gets eaten by something hungry. The poison moves up the food web in their gut, their liver, their carcass. A single bait box can take out an owl, a hawk, a fox, even a bobcat.
The pests you're worried about (mice, rats, voles) are the same pests an owl can take 1,000 of in a year, for free, forever, if you let her.
Use snap traps indoors only away from pets. Seal the entry points and lock food away. Put up an owl box. Keep cats inside (they get poisoned eating poisoned rodents too).
Rat poison sales need to drop to zero.
Approximately 800 to 1,000 captive-bred Lions are killed in canned hunts in South Africa every year. This equates to roughly two to three lions being shot every day.
The majority of these hunters are from the United States, paying thousands of dollars to shoot Lions in enclosed areas where they have no chance of escape.
This is barbaric and must end.

Yesterday, our team was busy trying to save a bull from a treacherous sinkhole. Here’s how they pulled it off.
We are no strangers to rescuing trapped elephants – last year alone, our teams saved 17 elephants from mud – but this operation brought some unique challenges.
In the morning, the Kenya Wildlife Service received reports of a trapped bull in Chakama. SWT pilot Roan Carr-Hartley flew down to the scene, where he met with the Kulalu Anti-Poaching Team and KWS.
It was a complicated situation: The bull was stuck shoulder-deep in a sinkhole. While it was too deep and steep to escape, he could move around inside, which made it challenging for teams to position the straps needed to free him. After discussing with Dr Limo of the SWT/KWS Tsavo Mobile Vet Unit, who was occupied with another operation, they opted to keep trying without anesthetising the bull.
Finally, the team managed to loop straps behind the bull and attached them to a vehicle. Inch by inch, they pulled him from his muddy trap. The elephant was guided to safety and KWS rangers continue to monitor his movements.
This was a very challenging operation, but the team didn’t give up. A life was saved, leaving all involved with a deep feeling of accomplishment.

Damn Rep.Melanie Stansbury stands up for the ESA and has a mic drop moment at the end where we all wanted to jump up and start clapping because she said everything we all wanted too!
Some incredible news from the shores of Tamil Nadu. Our satellite-tagged Olive Ridley turtle Kayal, released at Besant Nagar, has returned not once, but three times to nest along the Chennai coast, laying 389 eggs in a single season. She travelled south and then chose Chennai again. Another turtle, Megalai, returned twice, laying 211 eggs. Science now confirms what we long believed, nesting-site fidelity is real.
The Tamil Nadu Forest Department has established 49 turtle hatcheries across 10 coastal districts. So far, 1,150 nests have been secured, protecting 1,35,304 eggs, and 477 hatchlings have safely made their way to the sea.
Yes, challenges remain. We are monitoring the coastline 24×7 through our State-level Turtle Task Force. So far, 668 turtle mortalities have been reported across the state, which we are closely monitoring and addressing through strengthened protection and coordinated action.

This is the biggest presidential scandal in US history and no one is talking about it.

A Senate committee votes weds on Steve Pearce for @BLMNational director.
Pearce's entire career is built on an outright contempt for public lands. If appointed, he'll rapidly advance Mike Lee's sell off plans & move to hand vast swaths of America's land over to private industry.
Former ICE agent: I am duty bound to report the legally required training program at the ICE Academy as deficient, defective, and broken. On my first day training new cadets, I received secretive orders to teach them to violate the Constitution by entering homes without a judicial warrant. I watched ICE cut 240 hours of vital classes that teach our legal system, firearms training, the use of force, lawful arrests, proper detention, and the limits of officers' authority.
“I heard the officer say ‘that ain’t shit’.”
NASHVILLE — ICE shatter a car window in front of a newborn, refuse to look at man’s license & work visa… drag him out of his car, hit him, mock him for being Guatemalan (he’s from Mexico), laugh when he begs to say goodbye.
