Don’t get me wrong, I do not agree with them sitting outside her house. They could go to the banner. That’s why it’s there, right? Honestly, a spot should be chosen that will be allowed to be filled with yellow flowers, allowing them to continue to grow. Neighbors taking it down makes it appear as if not many people care. If they were set up at the banner where no one messed with them, the support would be displayed undisturbed for the world to see. The neighbors have successfully stifled the memorial—I don’t disagree with them—but it would be nice if one of them took initiative to direct a memorial site somewhere else. Pick up the yard stuff and drive it to the banner. Do something, YTs aren’t going away.

The Today Show tells tons of people’s stories makes money and doesn’t give them a cent of it. Idk, this is all hypocritical considering her career.

SG and her organization have made plenty of money exploiting other people’s tragedies. At this point, it would be wildly hypocritical for her to speak out. She is part of the media, and the media does messed up things with zero disregard for the public. Get used to it. No one is special—not a celebrity, not the neighbor of a woman whose mom got kidnapped, not me, and not you.

I wonder how many neighbors bragged SG grew up in that house. There are definitely some deep lessons going on in this situation.

If she didn’t order it, who was going to? Whenever special things show up at hotels, spas, and apparently private jets, they aren’t free! Those things don’t magically appear for free because you’re rich enough to charter a jet; it’s more about upcharging at that point. Someone had to initiate the experiences.
