Playing D&D when a friend drops wing sauce on his character bio paragraph. "It's just flavour text anyway," I say. I'm so sorry.

While the stadium announcement for ITO’s head coach was for Mauro Eustaquio…it’s Jose Guadalupe who is on the sidelines.

Absolutely wild that the closing round for both #CanPL and #NSL begins with teams separated by the THIRD tiebreaker that comes after being level on points.

Popcorn is ready!

[Northern Tribune @northtribune]

Both of Canada's pro soccer leagues enter the final regular-season round with tiebreakers in full effect!

#NSL: Final playoff spot down to a third-level tiebreaker.

#CanPL: Top two are tied on points and H2H, but separated by GD. The last playoff contenders are level on points.

It’s a season that started with promise and really dwindled from there.

[Northern Tribune @northtribune]

The season kicked off with a new name and big ambitions, but the results didn’t follow.

Here’s how @inter__toronto’s playoff hopes fell short.

@JAntonioBrown Yes, but only exactly once. 🤣

Hey @LetsGoToTheEX, maybe a ban on horrible AI art where we can’t even be arsed to spell ‘burger’ correctly?

There is low effort, and then there is this.

$18 a burger in a fair that has ~1.6 million visitors and vendors can’t pay a human to design a decent menu 🤦‍♂️

@northtribune wow what a cool admin 👀

...screw it, we're giving footy fans some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 early access beta codes.

Been a great week of action in Canada’s top flight.

If you’re a Canadian still hungry for footy after the World Cup, hard to beat the value you get with #CanPL.

[Northern Tribune @northtribune]

The midpoint of the #CanPL season saw a lot of history made.

Here's your @cplsoccer week in review!

The #CanPL aims to expand in both 2027 and 2028.

After James Johnson dropped a big tease on @footy_prime, we look at what locations might be coming soon ⤵️

Imagine ten years ago they told you CanSoc would get announcements for pro footy in Winnipeg and Barrie all in the same day.

What a time.

The @TorontoFC reserve side is relocating to Barrie, Ontario 🫡

So, so excited for Winnipeg!

This won't be the only pro Canadian club to be announced in a city today, by the way 👀

[Northern Tribune @northtribune]

The #NSL has its first expansion club!

Welcome to Winnipeg, @NorthernSuperLg 👋

Unambitious drivel that conveniently forgets the mosaic of culture that makes us ‘Canada’ to begin with. It comes off as gross, ignorant, and entirely unaspiring. That isn’t us.

But hey, @globeandmail, it’ll get you clicks. That is what modern news is, I guess.

Forever trailing in European soccer’s wake, Canada should just stick to hockey https://t.co/e7GZ67gcFY

[Northern Tribune @northtribune]

No @FIFAWorldCup today? No problem!

Canada's #CanChamp cup tournament has four games today featuring teams from three different leagues:
