AFRL NM Maker Hub is a collaborative space with the mission of creating a community where members can create, learn, explore, repair, invent, and more.
To address this, we just uploaded a new video on YouTube outlining what should or shouldn't be worn in the Maker Hub. If you're a user of the Maker Hub, please watch the video to avoid any confusion or inconvenience!

Hey everyone! Since there are many different pieces of equipment in the Maker Hub that have differing risk factors, wearing appropriate attire in the lab is very important.

P.S. our laser is back online!

This process of UV curing allows the SLA resin to more consistently cure throughout the bulk of the material making it stronger and more impact resistant, but the usefulness isn't the only beautiful thing about it, as you can see in the video.
Good morning. Due to Google Calendar being down right now, we are having difficulty scheduling equipment requests and training requests. Bear with us as we patiently wait for it to come back up.
If you have yet to see it on our calendar, we will be closed this Saturday for staff training. You can reserve equipment for tomorrow or next week via our scheduling webpage https://t.co/mluVjGSFWJ to keep up to date on your projects.
Our public wifi is back up and running! If you need an escape from your office and want to get work done in a casual and innovative environment stop by!
Due to the Kirtland Air & Space Fiesta occurring this Saturday, we will be closing the Maker Hub all day Saturday. We encourage you to participate in the fiesta! Info can be found at the following link: https://t.co/BpPSfViIyk
With this change, we will likely be adjusting our training class schedule in the upcoming week as well; but for now, if there's a training class that you've signed up for that is during the lunch break, those classes will still be held so nobody should need to reschedule.
Ask and ye shall receive! We've heard your requests, and starting next week, we'll be extending our business hours to have a more uniform schedule each day of the week to include morning hours AND evening hours each day.
This is just a friendly reminder that we will be closed this Saturday! Don't forget that you can always reserve equipment ahead of time and see our schedule on our website at https://t.co/mluVjGSFWJ
We'll be closing a few hours early today, but there's still some time on our equipment available for reservation the rest of this week and next week! Sign up for classes and equipment reservations at https://t.co/ELXQIQvIkH, and get to making!
