The criminal regime is doing all this to instil fear within the population, but these tactics have been employed by despots all over the world and throughout history. They never win in the end! UGANDA WILL BE FREE.

President Museveni's latest State of the Nation Address may go down as one of the clearest demonstrations yet of how disconnected he has become from the daily realities facing ordinary Ugandans.

In remarks that left many stunned, Museveni appeared to blame Ugandans for leaving the country in search of jobs abroad, particularly in the Middle East. According to him, Ugandans are abandoning what he described as "paradise" in Uganda for what he considers "hell" in places like Dubai and other Gulf states.
But this raises a simple question: if Uganda is heaven, why are millions of Ugandans desperately trying to leave it?

People are not boarding planes to the Middle East because they hate Uganda. They are leaving because they cannot find jobs, opportunities, or a decent standard of living at home. They are leaving because they have families to feed. They are leaving because years of economic hardship have made survival itself a struggle.

The tragedy is that instead of asking why so many young people are risking exploitation abroad, the President seems more interested in blaming the victims of the very conditions his government has presided over for decades.

This is why I believe Museveni's comments reveal a leader who has lost touch with the realities of the people he governs. A man surrounded by power, privilege, and comfort for nearly four decades can easily forget what life looks like for the unemployed graduate, the struggling mother, or the young man desperate for a chance to earn a living.

At this point, I have a humble request for Natasha Museveni and the President's family: please come and take your father home.

Uganda deserves leadership that understands the pain, frustrations, and aspirations of its people. When a leader can no longer comprehend why citizens are fleeing the country in search of work, it may be time to acknowledge that he has become detached from the reality he is supposed to govern.

Natasha, come and take your dad away. He has overstayed his welcome, and his latest comments suggest he has lost touch with the Uganda that ordinary citizens live in every day.
