@BreeSolstad Looks like she just placed her hand in the child’s head. Before my daughter’s communion the EM would always say “Jesus Loves you” as he/she touched her head.
Was the EM supposed to ignore the child? IMO that’s more hurtful. Then the child feels ignored.
