@DavidNautilus1 And the method of delivery: being lectured at, from a commercial presentation??? How does that meet all the needs in class? I love just a blank white board and manipulatives; any skilled teacher can make that work.

@DavidNautilus1 I’d add…. Keep concrete apparatus out! C’ren don’t automatically move concrete to pictorial when they move KS1 to KS2. Or from pictorial to abstract within KS2. I think this is behind many of the difficulties I’m seeing in ks2 and 3 c’ren. Brain can’t process!
