I'm a shooting star, leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity

@swfansarecool Yeah, it’s gonna take a few visits. The restaurant is so good!

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art was pretty amazing. I highly recommend going if you have the chance. Photos just don’t do it justice.

@StarWarsOnly2 I’ve never heard anything about that at all. If it happened, it would be news to me.

1/5 — STARFIGHTER SPOILERS 🚨

More on Fanga, the creature Kade fights in the nightclub sequence:

The comparison is always a “Wookiee crossed with a Wampa.”

Huge. White fur. Tiny goggles. Absolutely ferocious-looking.

5/5 — STARFIGHTER SPOILERS 🚨
The other fighting rings in the nightclub also had creatures and fighters going in the background.

Some of those were clearly meant for later VFX replacement/enhancement, with unfinished or unpainted costumes being used during filming.

4/5 — STARFIGHTER SPOILERS 🚨

Fanga was also reportedly 100% practical on set.

No idea yet whether ILM will leave him mostly practical, enhance him, or replace parts digitally.

But Ryan Gosling was physically performing opposite a full creature build.

@Blacklight_21 I have my theories but no confirmation there.

In Star Wars: Starfighter, I also heard Eva Mendes is playing a fully glammed out cantina owner named Belle. She is 650 years old with gold skintight pants, corset with a golden cape. Bespin also heard about that casting a bit ago but did not report on it.

@johncouch_john My boss said “okay.”

[MakingStarWars.net @MakingStarWars]

Good Morning, Starfighters.

[MakingStarWars.net @MakingStarWars]

@ChrisMarasso Yeah. They call me and say “you know your leaks aren’t that good.” And I’m just like “then why are you calling me?”

[MakingStarWars.net @MakingStarWars]

@Blacklight_21 Yes.

[MakingStarWars.net @MakingStarWars]

@BmaafiNFL Livin' your best life! :)

Cade comes across more like a Han Solo / pirate / rogue character. Early on, I heard he was the best friend of the father of Gray's character and he had to take the boy to a Jedi planet and Amy Addams was the boy's mom. Some of that seems to have stuck into the final script.

20/20 — STARFIGHTER SPOILERS 🚨

Ryan Gosling getting crowd-surfed into a Star Wars fighting ring while screaming:

“TRY VERY HARDER!”

😂

19/20 — STARFIGHTER SPOILERS 🚨

One potentially important connection:

Kade’s mission is reportedly to get the kid to a Jedi temple/academy on Adaria.

Seeing the kid struggle to control the Force here may explain WHY Kade is trying to get him there.

What does the key unlock?
