How to be a successful European man:
1. Get at least two master's degrees by the age of 36
2. Pay minimum 56% income tax, round it up if it's less
3. Let your wife have a boyfriend
4. If your boss requires work in July and August, quit
5. Sell your car. Driving is far-right and bad for climate
6. When on a date, always split the bill
7. Constantly repeat that America is collapsing
8. If you have a spare bedroom, give it up to a refugee family
9. Never tip
10. When in doubt, blame the US
To everyone saying 35c is normal in India/America or elsewhere, this is Britain we’re talking about. We broke an 70 or 80 year old record for the UK.
We are not accustomed to this heat, our housing is not built for it, air conditioning can be extremely expensive for most if not all. And many can’t get it when living in rented properties that don’t allow you to do things to said property.
Please don’t gloat about how you can handle the heat. Not everyone can. If the heat here is normal for you, please be my guest and come here. Some people have and agreed the heat here is extreme (during the last heat wave we had here).
No one is built the same and no country is the same.
French people are massively sleeping in their cars, caves, or balconies because they don't have AC in their houses.
The downfall of Europe will be studied.
