Psychiatrist said to discharge home with crisis team support.
Crisis team said they won’t work with me as I’m always suicidal and that we need to speak to care co.
Care co unreachable.
Mental health assessment unit now want to send me home with no plan bc there’s no RMN
@HoppyPelican Not to mention the fact that they inadvertently teach you how to sh or unalive ‘better’- ‘oh don’t worry you don’t need IV today, you’d have to have taken at least x amount of y for that!’ (Subsequently I followed this advice) or “it’s superficial bc I can’t see any x”
I swear my entire life is taken up by sadmin! I have no idea how people with disabilities work and still have time to do all their hospital related stuff
It’s difficult to consider at what point do you stop going down the formal complaints pathway and instead start legal proceedings to facilitate life-saving change in your mental health trust?
Very difficult decision.
@cstroeckw The fact that graded exercise was forced on us for years (and then they told us we weren’t trying to get better if it didn’t work) is infuriating
having worked across two acute psychiatric wards for female im sick of seeing every young women who comes through the door being labelled with #eupd - or been seen through that lense regardless of the situation. this is just ridiculous. eupd is being used as a dustbin label 🥲
@PaulainaP@NoNonsenseND I wish I didn’t have problems with noises! I forgot my headphones today AND yesterday briefly and god you guys have super powers being able to cope in the world without them everyday!!!
@NoShit_Watson@NoNonsenseND The lacking empathy thing is a myth I think. I feel like maybe we just show our empathy slightly differently and it’s actually the NTs not picking up on that!
@Amie_The_Runner Do they not realise that many people with mental health conditions also have stress and trauma-related physical health conditions too. Don’t we already die 15 years earlier? Is that not enough for them? Do they want us dying even earlier?
