Breast/chest feeding is SO f*** hard. If you never struggled that's great. If you struggled to make it work & you did also great. But it doesn't make you a better parent than those who didn't/couldn't or did both. The #formulashortage is a crisis and the fix is not "breast milk"

I am stunned at the level of ignorant that ppl have re: #breastfeeding apparently ppl think you can just relactate on demand? Like 25-30oz per day? Seeing breastfeeding advocates out here like let's support relactation? Are you serious?

I #breastfed both my babies til 2. But the first got #formula as well because I DID NOT MAKE ENOUGH. I have privilege. I had access to pumps and support. What I didn't have was time off from work and that 3 week post partum return wrecked HAVOC on supply

Now I take care of babies and families & SO many want to breastfeed who simply can't for a bajillion reasons that a "lactation consultant" can't fix. Like that they return to work immediately & can't afford a pump or the job won't let them pump or store milk.. ect ect x Eternity

In the 5 least vaccinated states (16M people)?

6,600 hospitalized, 104 deaths

Per capita , least vaccinated states have

We as DOs are telling you we don’t refer to ourselves as “osteopaths” but rather by our specialty ( pediatrician ✋🏼) same as an MD would & that the headline does us harm & contributes to misinformation about DOs
