I grew up without a television (thank you Mom & Dad) and read a lot as a result. I read every book in the children's section of the local public library multiple times by the time I was 10 and received my adult library card when I was 11. One of my favorite book series as a young boy was "Tom Swift," who was a fictional boy genius with access to a lot of capital to fund his ideas and scientific endeavors. "Tom Swift and his hot air balloon", or "Tom Swift and his Submarine," or "Tom Swift and his Moon Base". Regardless of the title, Tom Swift was curious, an inventor, had big dreams and aspirations. He accomplished cool shit and inspired millions.

Fast forward to today, Elon Musk IS Tom Swift.

I believe in him and his aspirations. And I invested in SPCX today, not because of the hype or FOMO, but because I believe in Elon, his interests, and his mission.
