🚨 Last summer, with Tottenham closing in on a transfer for Eberechi Eze, he was encouraged to make a fateful call to Mikel Arteta.

🗣️ “I’m only here because Declan Rice told me to just call him.”

As a spiritual man, Eze sincerely believes it was meant to be & that the message came from a higher power, through Rice, to change the course of his life.

The original hope was to get everything done in time for his unveiling before the first home game of the season against Leeds. Getting the paperwork finalised was a race against time, however.
