I got a new eReader and am now tackling the fun challenge of tracking down and downloading all of my favorite fics from multiple fandoms, designing cover art, and importing them to my library. I've literally been looking forward to this all week 🙈

@CharlieInUtopia I have a Nook. I just use my photo editing software to design a cover, then use software called Calibre to connect the covers to the fic files so it'll show up with the cover in the eReader's library. It's a more complex process, but I like being able to see them like that 🙈

@harryshumjr_us It's always sad when that happens 😔 It's part of the reason why I want to download copies. Plus I don't always have access to the internet while traveling, so that's another big one.

@CharlieInUtopia Archive of Our Own has a downloading feature enabled on the site, so you can download the file type (PDF, EPUB, MOBI, etc.) that is supported by whatever device you want to keep it on. That's typically what I do, unless it's on a different website.
